How many aircraft did Boeing deliver in December 2025?
Aviation Week reported 63 Boeing commercial-aircraft deliveries in December 2025. It identified 44 of them as 737 MAXs and 14 as 787s; the report does not itemize the remaining five in the figures cited here.
Boeing’s own January 13, 2026 delivery table reports fourth-quarter and full-year figures, not a December-only total. It recorded 160 commercial deliveries in the fourth quarter. Boeing cautioned that its delivery information was not final until quarterly financial results were issued.
What was Boeing’s total for 2025?

How did deliveries compare with 2024?
Boeing delivered 160 commercial aircraft in the fourth quarter of 2025, compared with 57 in the fourth quarter of 2024. Across the full year, deliveries rose to 600 from 348 in 2024, according to the company’s January 27 results.

Did Boeing deliver more aircraft than Airbus?
No. Airbus reported 793 commercial-aircraft deliveries in 2025, compared with Boeing’s 600. Airbus also reported 766 deliveries in 2024 and 735 in 2023. Those figures are from Airbus’s January 12, 2026 release.
Boeing’s 600 therefore marks a substantial year-over-year increase and its strongest annual delivery total since 2018, while still trailing Airbus’s 2025 volume. The two companies’ delivery counts are commercial-aircraft figures; Boeing’s separate defense and space deliveries are not included.

What else did Boeing report for 2025?
Boeing also reported 1,173 net Commercial Airplanes orders and a $682 billion total company backlog in its January 27 results. These are order and backlog measures, not additional aircraft deliveries. CEO Kelly Ortberg characterized the year as progress in the company’s recovery, but that management assessment is distinct from the delivery figures and does not by itself establish future production or delivery performance.
