Verdict: Traders Trust is not supported by the available evidence as a fake or anonymous scam. It operates through identifiable legal entities and its Seychelles entity appears on the regulator’s capital-markets list as a licensed securities dealer. However, it is better classified as a legitimate but higher-risk offshore forex and CFD broker, rather than a low-risk alternative to a broker regulated by the FCA, ASIC, or a currently active CySEC authorization.
The most important change is regulatory: Traders Trust’s former Cyprus/CySEC authorization was withdrawn in 2026. Many older reviews still describe the broker as CySEC-regulated, which is no longer an accurate description of its current position.
Is Traders Trust a scam?
There is no clear evidence in the records reviewed that Traders Trust is an outright scam. The business is connected to identifiable companies, and its current Seychelles entity can be matched with official corporate and regulatory information.
- Traders Trust Ltd is incorporated in Seychelles under registration number 8429440-1.
- The company states that it is authorized by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority as a securities dealer under license SD141.
- The Seychelles regulator’s capital-markets list includes Traders Trust Ltd.
- TTCM Traders Capital Limited is incorporated in Bermuda under company number 54135.
Those details distinguish Traders Trust from an untraceable website that does not identify an operating company. They do not mean that client money receives the same protection it would receive from a broker regulated in the UK, Australia, the United States, or under a current EU framework.

The practical answer is therefore: Traders Trust appears to be a real, registered broker, but registration should not be confused with low risk.
Why the offshore entity matters
Most international customers appear to be contracted through the Seychelles or Bermuda entities. The broker’s registration flow states that the Bermuda entity is outside the European regulatory framework, is not subject to MiFID II, and does not provide an Investor Compensation Scheme.
That can materially affect a customer if the broker becomes insolvent, a dispute cannot be resolved, or the client believes the broker has mishandled funds. Offshore regulation may still impose licensing, conduct, and capital requirements, but the protections, compensation arrangements, and enforcement mechanisms can differ significantly from those available under top-tier regulators.
Traders Trust also excludes residents of the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, and several other jurisdictions. A US resident, in particular, should not treat Traders Trust as an available US forex broker simply because the website can be viewed from the United States.

2026 regulatory change: the CySEC license is no longer current
Older articles commonly state that Traders Trust is CySEC-regulated. That claim is outdated.
The former Cyprus entity was TTCM Traders Trust Capital Markets Ltd, Cyprus company number 250591, with CySEC license 107/09. CySEC’s former-firms register identifies that license as “Voluntary Renunciation.” CySEC records also show a board decision dated May 14, 2026, announced June 9, 2026, concerning withdrawal of the company’s CIF authorization.
The former Cyprus entity also had earlier regulatory history:

- CySEC lifted the suspension in April 2017 after stating that the company had complied with the relevant requirements.

These events relate to the former Cyprus entity and do not, by themselves, prove that the current Seychelles company is fraudulent. They are nevertheless important when assessing the broker’s regulatory history and should not be omitted from a current review.

Accounts, costs, and trading conditions
Traders Trust’s current live-account page lists three accounts. The advertised conditions are:
| Account | Minimum funding | Minimum spread | Commission per side | Advertised leverage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Classic | $50 | 1.5 pips | None | MT4 dynamic leverage up to 1:3000; MT5 up to 1:500 |
| Pro | $500 | 0 pips | $3 per lot | MT4 dynamic leverage up to 1:3000; MT5 up to 1:500 |
| VIP | $5,000 minimum balance | 0 pips | $1.50 per lot | MT4 dynamic leverage up to 1:3000; MT5 up to 1:500 |
The same page lists USD, EUR, and JPY as account currencies, a minimum order size of 0.01 lots, a maximum FX volume of 1,000 lots, and a maximum volume of 50 lots for other instruments. It advertises a 50% margin call and a 20% stop-out level.
Traders Trust describes its execution model as STP/No Dealing Desk with market execution. These are broker-published specifications, not independent proof of execution quality. They do not tell you how often orders experience slippage, whether spreads widen sharply during news, or how quickly customer-service issues are resolved.

What does the commission mean?
A “0-pip” spread account is not commission-free. On the Pro and VIP accounts, the commission is charged separately per lot and per side. A round-trip trade therefore involves the opening commission plus the closing commission, in addition to any spread or other trading costs.
Before choosing an account, compare the total cost of a typical round trip on the currency pairs and position sizes you actually trade. The Classic account’s wider spread may be simpler for smaller accounts, while the Pro or VIP structure may be more competitive for higher-volume traders—but the advertised headline spread is not the complete cost.

Leverage is the biggest practical risk
The maximum headline figure of 1:3000 applies to dynamic MT4 leverage under the listed conditions. The same comparison page shows maximum MT5 leverage of 1:500. It is therefore misleading to describe Traders Trust without qualification as a “1:3000 leverage broker.”
Actual leverage can depend on:
- the account type and trading platform;
- the instrument being traded;
- position size;
- account equity and margin level;
- the client’s jurisdiction; and
- the broker’s internal risk controls.
At 1:3000, a $100 position deposit can theoretically control approximately $300,000 of notional exposure, subject to the broker’s requirements and instrument rules. A very small market move can therefore consume a large portion of the account’s equity. Leverage is not a benefit if it causes a position to be liquidated before a trade has room to fluctuate normally.
The client agreement warns that leveraged instruments can result in the loss of all deposited capital and allows the company to liquidate positions when margin requirements are not met. New traders should regard the maximum leverage as a warning, not as a target.
Negative-balance protection is not unconditional
Traders Trust advertises negative-balance protection, but the client agreement contains an important qualification. It states that losses should not exceed the available funds across the client’s trading portfolio. It also says the company may terminate access and seek to recover losses if it decides that the client abused the protection.
The agreement gives examples that include:
- hedging exposure through related accounts;
- hedging across multiple clients; and
- requesting a withdrawal during a specified period.
That means the protection should not be presented as unconditional or treated as identical to statutory retail-client protections in some highly regulated jurisdictions. Read the exact agreement attached to your account before depositing money, particularly if you plan to use multiple accounts, automated strategies, or hedging arrangements.
Markets and trading platforms
The current website advertises CFDs on forex, cryptocurrencies, indices, metals, and oil. Its forex page advertises more than 50 currency pairs. Available products can vary according to the client’s jurisdiction and contracting entity.

The more useful test is whether a valid withdrawal is ultimately processed under the published terms and whether the broker explains what document is missing.

Trustpilot currently shows 554 reviews and a TrustScore of 4.5 out of 5, with 86% five-star reviews and 6% one-star reviews, according to Trustpilot. The profile says the company has replied to 100% of negative reviews. Trustpilot also notes that Traders Trust has not recently invited customers to leave reviews, meaning the sample may not represent the full customer base.
One recent one-star review from June 2026 alleged that an introducing broker’s referred clients were removed from the IB structure and that commissions were affected. Traders Trust replied that inactive clients could be removed under its IB policies and that active clients should not lose commissions. This is an IB-program dispute, not independently verified evidence that retail withdrawals were refused.
Online complaints about slippage, outages, or delayed withdrawals deserve attention, but individual reviews are not regulatory findings. Look for independently checkable evidence, consistent patterns across multiple sources, and a regulator’s determination before treating an allegation as an established fact.

How to reduce your risk if you use Traders Trust
- Identify the contracting entity. Check your account agreement for the legal company, jurisdiction, and regulator before depositing.
- Verify the license independently. Use the regulator’s website rather than a badge or logo on a marketing page.
- Start with a small amount. Make a small deposit and test a withdrawal before committing more capital.
- Complete verification early. Upload clear identity and address documents before you need to withdraw urgently.
- Keep payment records. Save deposit receipts, account statements, support tickets, and withdrawal confirmations.
- Use conservative leverage. The maximum available leverage is not an appropriate position-sizing recommendation.
- Read the negative-balance clause. Pay particular attention to the anti-abuse provisions if you hedge or operate multiple accounts.
FAQ
Is Traders Trust legit or a scam?
The available evidence supports describing Traders Trust as a legitimate, identifiable offshore broker rather than a proven scam. Its Seychelles entity is listed as a licensed securities dealer. It is still higher risk than a broker operating under current FCA, ASIC, or CySEC supervision.
Is Traders Trust currently regulated by CySEC?
No. The former Cyprus entity’s CySEC license 107/09 was identified as voluntarily renounced, and CySEC records show a 2026 withdrawal-of-authorization decision. Older pages claiming current CySEC regulation are outdated.
Does Traders Trust offer negative-balance protection?
It advertises negative-balance protection, but the client agreement includes anti-abuse provisions. The company reserves the right to recover losses in circumstances it determines involve abuse, including certain hedging or withdrawal arrangements.
What is the minimum deposit at Traders Trust?
The current advertised minimum funding is $50 for the Classic account, $500 for Pro, and a $5,000 minimum balance for VIP.
Does Traders Trust offer 1:3000 leverage?
The current account page advertises dynamic MT4 leverage up to 1:3000. MT5 is listed at up to 1:500, and actual leverage can vary by instrument, account, position size, jurisdiction, and internal risk controls.
Does Traders Trust accept US clients?
No. The broker’s current website excludes residents of the United States, along with several other jurisdictions.
Does Traders Trust offer cTrader?
cTrader is not listed on the current main live-account comparison page. That page lists MT4, MT5, and MT4 WebTrader, so clients should confirm platform availability for their specific entity and country.
Bottom line
Traders Trust is best described as legit, but not low-risk. Its current Seychelles entity is identifiable and appears on the Seychelles regulator’s securities-dealer list. That weighs against calling the broker an unregulated scam.
The risk profile is nevertheless weaker than that of a broker whose specific contracting entity is currently authorized by a top-tier regulator. The former CySEC authorization was withdrawn in 2026; Bermuda clients have no Investor Compensation Scheme and are outside MiFID II; leverage can reach an unusually high 1:3000 on MT4; and negative-balance protection includes contractual anti-abuse exceptions.
If you choose to use Traders Trust, verify the entity, read the account agreement, use conservative leverage, and test a small withdrawal before depositing money you cannot afford to lose. Traders seeking the strongest regulatory protection should choose a broker regulated in their own jurisdiction by a top-tier authority.
