DailyCoin published a related article the same day, explicitly labeled “Sponsored Content,” which also reported more than $117 million.
Those sources establish that the figure was reported in 2024 coverage, not that the receipts were independently audited or otherwise verified. The amount should therefore be attributed to those articles rather than presented as a confirmed total or a current fundraising figure.
DailyCoin’s sponsored article also said BlockDAG’s Telegram TG Tap Miner had more than 70,000 participants. It described the game as involving Tap Points and BDAG. That participant count is likewise a figure reported in promotional coverage, not independently verified participation data.
What does the later New BDAG report say?
An August 14, 2026 report by TheHolyCoins describes a second BlockDAG presale and distinguishes its New BDAG token from Legacy BDAG. This is a different sale and token arrangement from the one discussed in the November 2024 headline; the two should not be combined into one continuous presale total.
The report attributes the following details to BlockDAG statements and documents:
- The reported stage-one price for New BDAG was $0.002, with 25 stages in the sale.
- New BDAG was described as intended for network gas and mining rewards.
- Legacy BDAG was described as remaining a separate asset.
These are project terms as reported by a secondary publisher, not independently verified financial facts. The available material does not establish how much was raised in the second sale or whether its terms have since changed.

What did the 2024 coverage mean by Solana “expansion”?
The November 2024 coverage discussed a Shopify integration and reported that SOL had risen 15%. Both points belong to that historical article: the price change was time-bound, and neither claim establishes current market performance or a present-day expansion milestone. What Solana’s Foundation said about network operations in 2026
In a September 14, 2026 post, the Solana Foundation said a routing failure on August 12 took nearly 29% of network stake offline. The Foundation also said block production continued and transactions kept landing during the incident. In the same post, it said Solana had maintained 100% uptime since February 2024. These are the Foundation’s own descriptions of network performance, not independent measurements cited here.

The incident account concerns network operation, while the 2024 SOL price figure concerns market performance. Neither is evidence for the other.
Are Polkadot 2.0 upgrades live?
The 2024 coverage described Asynchronous Backing and Elastic Scaling as forthcoming Polkadot 2.0 features.
