Breezy HR is a cloud-based applicant tracking system (ATS) for managing recruiting, from job promotion and candidate screening through interviews, offers, and reporting. Its free Bootstrap plan is sharply limited: it allows one active position or candidate pool at a time and access only to candidate data added in the past 30 days. Teams hiring across multiple roles will need to assess a paid tier and any add-ons against their budget and workflow.

This review reflects Breezy’s published plan and feature information available on September 28, 2026. Prices and plan entitlements can change, and the feature descriptions below are vendor-published rather than independent product-test results.

What is Breezy HR?

Breezy HR is recruiting software built around an applicant tracking workflow. It is not a payroll product or an all-purpose HR suite. The platform’s described workflow includes promoting jobs, organizing candidate records, communicating with applicants, screening, scheduling interviews, collecting team feedback, managing offers, and reporting. Breezy describes visual drag-and-drop pipeline stages and candidate profiles that bring together resumes, notes, and message history. Breezy’s feature page describes these capabilities.

How much does Breezy HR cost?

Breezy’s pricing page lists Bootstrap, Startup, Growth, Business, and a Custom Pro option. In the page text captured on September 28, 2026, Startup appeared with prices of $157/mo and $189/mo; Growth with $273/mo and $329/mo; and Business with $439/mo and $529/mo. The captured text does not clearly map each price in those pairs to its billing cadence. Check the live pricing page, billing toggle, and terms before budgeting or comparing annual and monthly costs. These are time-sensitive published prices, not a guarantee of current charges. See Breezy’s pricing page.

Bootstrap is described as a free subscription. Optional products and services listed on the pricing page include Breezy Intelligence, SMS messaging, Onboard, Perform, and expert training. The same captured page listed Breezy Intelligence credits from $30 per 100,000, SMS credits from $41/month, and Onboard from $49/month. Confirm current charges, billing details, and whether an add-on is necessary for your use case before signing up; Onboard and Perform should not be assumed to be included in the ATS subscription.

What does each Breezy HR plan include?

Plan Published scope and notable limits
Bootstrap Free subscription with unlimited users, a customizable career portal, automatic job-board distribution, automatic resume parsing, and GDPR, EEOC, and CCPA compliance features. Limited to one active position or candidate pool at a time; access is limited to candidate data added during the last 30 days. Breezy’s Bootstrap help article is dated August 19, 2026. Plan details.
Startup Published features include unlimited positions, screening integrations, bulk candidate actions, candidate automations, questionnaires, a custom portal domain, a customizable pipeline, reporting, scheduling, mobile apps, and video interview options.
Growth Published additions include automated reference checking, interview guides, scorecards, referrals, electronic signatures, external recruiter support, internal positions, multiple locations, and multiple pipelines.
Business Published additions include advanced questionnaires, assessment integrations, candidate comparison and nurture campaigns, custom permissions, HRIS integrations, approvals, offer management, and video recording.
Custom Pro A custom option is listed; the captured pricing-page text does not state a comparable price or feature set.

Feature lists and tier placement can change. The table summarizes Breezy’s published descriptions; it does not establish that every listed feature is available in every region or contract. Verify the live plan page for the package and terms offered to your organization.

Is Breezy HR free?

Yes. Breezy describes Bootstrap as a free subscription, but its constraints matter for actual recruiting. You can have only one active position or candidate pool at once, and candidate-data access is limited to records added in the previous 30 days. That may be enough to try a limited hiring workflow, but it can be a poor fit for an organization recruiting for multiple roles or needing continuing access to older records.

Breezy recommends paid plans for multiple active positions, partner integrations, custom pipelines, and automations. Those limits make it important to check not just whether the entry plan costs nothing, but whether it supports the number of open roles and the data access your hiring process requires.

What are Breezy HR’s main features?

Pipeline and candidate records

Breezy describes a visual pipeline with customizable stages and drag-and-drop candidate movement. Candidate profiles can consolidate resumes, social accounts, team notes, and message history. For a team, this can provide a shared place to track a candidate’s progress and prior interactions; the published description does not independently demonstrate usability or performance.

Screening and workflow automation

Questionnaires can be used to screen applicants, while stage actions can trigger messages, questionnaires, assessments, feedback collection, or interview scheduling. These are workflow capabilities, not evidence that screening is accurate or that automation will save a particular amount of time.

Team feedback and interviews

Published capabilities include shared candidate conversations, Slack interaction, calendar integrations, candidate self-scheduling, one-way video responses, and integrated or connected video interviews. Scorecards and structured interview guides are listed for applicable tiers. Teams that rely on consistent interviewer input should verify which plan includes the evaluation tools they need.

AI features

Breezy describes Applicant Insights features such as scoring candidates against job requirements, activity summaries, and resume auditing. These are vendor-described functions. The available sources do not independently establish their accuracy, effect on bias, fraud-detection effectiveness, or impact on hiring outcomes. Treat AI scores as inputs to human review, not as validated hiring decisions.

Onboarding and broader HR functions

Breezy lists Onboard as a separately priced add-on for role-based onboarding workflows and describes Perform as performance management for small and midsize businesses. Neither should be treated as automatically included in an ATS subscription; confirm product scope and cost directly on the current pricing page.

What are the pros and cons of Breezy HR?

Potential advantages

  • The published workflow covers many recruiting steps, from job promotion and applicant tracking to interview coordination, offers, and reporting.
  • Bootstrap offers a way to try a limited recruiting workflow without a subscription fee.
  • Paid tiers add progressively more screening, structured evaluation, collaboration, and administrative features.
  • Listed integrations and optional products can extend the workflow, subject to their plan eligibility and additional costs.

Potential drawbacks

  • Bootstrap’s single active position or pool and 30-day candidate-data access limit may not work for ongoing, multi-role hiring.
  • Some capabilities are restricted to higher tiers, and optional products may add to the total cost.
  • Published AI features are not independent proof of reliable, fair, or more successful hiring decisions.
  • Vendor feature descriptions do not establish real-world ease of use, reliability, support quality, or implementation effort.

Is Breezy HR worth it, and who should use it?

Breezy may be worth evaluating if your team wants a dedicated recruiting workflow with visible candidate pipelines, shared team input, screening tools, and interview coordination. Whether it is a good value depends on hiring volume and which controls you need: Bootstrap is suited to testing or very limited recruiting, while teams managing several roles should price the paid tier that covers their actual positions, integrations, evaluation process, and administrative requirements.

Before choosing Breezy or another ATS, compare the number of active jobs supported, candidate records and communication tools, screening and automation depth, interview and scorecard features, compatibility with your HR and calendar systems, onboarding needs, data access rules, and the full cost of relevant tiers and add-ons. The available information does not establish a competitor ranking or an independent performance advantage for Breezy.

What should you verify before subscribing?

  • Current plan prices, billing cadence, contract terms, and any trial terms.
  • Whether the plan supports your expected number of concurrent positions and required candidate-data access.
  • Which specific integrations, questionnaires, automation actions, scorecards, and admin controls are included in that tier.
  • The cost and billing basis of optional products such as SMS, Breezy Intelligence, and Onboard.
  • How your team will review AI-generated insights and make final hiring decisions.
