Do not compare X numbers across brands as if they were points on one industry scale. Match the crown and brim to your preference
A cattleman crown and an open crown create different profiles. The Resistol 5 Star’s stated 4 5/8-inch cattleman crown and 4 1/4-inch brim give you concrete dimensions to compare. Resistol’s 100X open-crown listing describes the same 4 1/4-inch brim with a 6-inch open crown. Check the exact model listing: collection-level options do not mean every color or felt grade comes in every shape.
