The Bihar Home Guard Recruitment 2025 PET admit card is accessed through the official Bihar Home Guard recruitment portal. The portal also provides district-wise PET schedules and final merit-list links, so check your own card and district’s current listing rather than relying on an old release alert.
How to download the Bihar Home Guard PET admit card
- Open the official Bihar Home Guard Recruitment portal and select the admit-card download link.
- In the lookup form, select your applied district and enter your registration ID, date of birth in the displayed
dd-MMM-yyyyformat, and mobile number. These are the details requested by the official retrieval form: onlinebhg.bihar.gov.in. - Submit the form and open the candidate-specific PET admit card if it is available for your record. Save or print it, then check the date, reporting time and PET center shown on the card.
What to check before going to the PET center
Your individual admit card is the controlling source for your test date, reporting time and center. The PET schedule is district-specific; do not use another district’s dates or venue in place of the details on your card. The official portal links to the district-wise schedule, and the card provides the candidate-specific instructions: official recruitment portal and official admit-card information.
- Bring photo identification. The official instructions give Aadhaar, voter ID and driving licence as examples.
- Do not bring a mobile phone, laptop or other electronic device inside the PET center; the admit-card directions prohibit these items.
- Keep the admit-card barcode undamaged.
- Attend on the date assigned to you. The official card says: “If a candidate is absent on the prescribed date, no separate opportunity will be given.”
What the current status means
The headline that the admit card has been “released” is a dated alert, not a reliable indication of present availability for every candidate. As of 8 October 2026, the official portal continues to advertise Bihar Home Guard Recruitment 2025 and provides an admit-card link, along with district-wise final merit-list information. Whether an individual can retrieve a card depends on the candidate’s record and the portal’s current availability.
The recruitment was for Bihar Home Guard Recruitment 2025, Advertisement 01/2025. The user manual gives the online registration period as 27 March to 16 April 2025; that is the application window, not the admit-card release date. The first date on which the PET admit card became available has not been established by the official sources cited here.

District PET windows have differed. Most visible schedule entries are in 2025, while Begusarai has a listed window of 4 April–6 May 2026. Patna district administration lists Home Guard Recruitment-2025 entries dated 15 May through 19 July 2025; its page was last updated 15 September 2026. Those dated entries provide recruitment-cycle context, but do not establish the initial admit-card release date or prove that every district’s process has ended.
If the admit card will not open or download
- Confirm that you selected the district where you applied and entered the registration ID, date of birth in the required format and mobile number accurately.
- Use the official portal rather than a third-party download page, and check whether the portal has a current notice or district update.
- If retrieval still fails, contact the helplines displayed on the official portal: 8797149639 or 8969138376. The listed hours are 9 AM–6 PM, except Sundays and government holidays. Contact details and service hours can change, so confirm them on the portal before calling.
Where to check after the PET
For a post-test update, use the official portal’s district-wise final merit-list page. Check the listing for your district rather than relying on an older news article or another district’s result.
