The AWES admit card 2024 was scheduled to be available online from 12 November 2024 for candidates taking the Army Public Schools Online Screening Test (OST) for Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Postgraduate Teacher (PGT) posts. The 2024 examination has passed, so this is a historical notice—not a current download alert. For a current cycle, start at the official AWES website and follow its latest examination notice.
AWES admit card 2024: release date and exam schedule
Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) listed 12 November 2024 as the online availability date for OST admit cards. The exam was scheduled for 23 and 24 November 2024, with 25 November reserved in case candidate numbers could not be accommodated on the first two dates. The Times of India reported the cards released on 12 November; Scroll reported their release on 13 November. Scroll’s report and The Times of India’s report are historical coverage, not confirmation that an old portal link still works.
Who the OST admit card covered
The screening test applied to applicants for PRT, TGT and PGT positions at Army Public Schools. AWES conducted the OST on behalf of regional boards; passing or taking the screening test was not itself a job offer. Selection and appointment were handled by the relevant Board of Administration or the school’s administration and management committee. AWES warned candidates not to use other websites for OST information or registration.
How candidates downloaded the 2024 admit card
Contemporary reports described this historical access route:
#1 Best Overall
- Open the official AWES website and locate the OST admit-card notice or link.
- Follow the link to the AWES registration portal and sign in using the account credentials associated with the application.
- Open the “Admit Card” tab, review the displayed card, and download and print it.
- Read the instructions appended to the card and bring it to the exam centre.
Scroll reproduced the notification’s instructions to log in to the registration portal and use the “Admit Card” tab. That wording describes the 2024 process; it does not establish that the old registration endpoint remains active. For a later examination cycle, use only the link and directions in the current AWES notice.
What the admit card was required for
AWES said candidates should produce the admit card to gain entry to the exam centre and advised them to read the instructions appended to it carefully. The official notice stated that cards would be available online for candidates to download and print. Follow the instructions on the individual card and the applicable official examination notice; the 2024 directions do not establish requirements for a different cycle. Read AWES notices on the official website.

The AWES 2024 instructions said mock questions in PDF form would be provided for reference from 1 November 2024. They were to cover 10% of the total number of questions in each subject paper. This was a provision for practice materials, not a reported exam result or pass-rate statistic.
