The BPSC Assistant Section Officer (ASO) preliminary exam under Advertisement 37/2025 was held on 10 September 2025. The admit-card download window began on 4 September 2025, so this is a historical guide—not a notice that the 2025 hall ticket is available to download today. BPSC’s 2026 exam calendar records later mains and result milestones.
How candidates downloaded the BPSC ASO admit card
Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) directed candidates for Advertisement 37/2025 to use its candidate portal. The notice said the e-admit-card download process would start on 4 September 2025 and that admit cards would not be sent by post. These steps describe the process announced for that examination; they do not confirm that the old download link remains active.
- Sign in to the BPSC candidate portal using your account credentials.
- Open My Account.
- Select the relevant advertisement, 37/2025.
- Choose View/Download beside Admit Card.
- Download and print the e-admit card. BPSC instructed candidates to bring an additional copy.
Use BPSC’s official portal for any candidate-specific document. The notice does not support using an unofficial mirror or third-party service to obtain a personal hall ticket.
When was the BPSC ASO prelims exam?
The Advertisement 37/2025 preliminary competitive examination took place on 10 September 2025. BPSC’s notice said the exam was arranged across 11 districts and 195 examination centres. The commission’s provisional answer-key document also identifies 10 September 2025 as the exam date.
#1 Best Overall
BPSC’s 2026 calendar lists 41 vacancies for the advertisement and records the mains in December 2025 and a result milestone in February 2026. The calendar describes its schedule dates as tentative and records that a document-verification list was published. Together, those later milestones confirm that the prelim hall-ticket release is not a current event.
What to check on the hall ticket and where to find the centre
Before the 2025 exam, BPSC instructed candidates to confirm that the roll number and barcode were clearly printed on the e-admit card. The downloaded card showed the allotted district. BPSC said detailed centre code and centre-name information would be available on the candidate dashboard from 8 September 2025.
Rank #2
If the printed roll number or barcode had been unclear, or if the dashboard did not show the detailed centre information, the notice did not provide a separate remedy in the cited instructions. Candidates were directed to the BPSC website and candidate portal for the admit card and centre information.
