Architectural Digest described Ariana Grande’s Hollywood Hills home, formerly owned by Cameron Diaz, as her current residence in December 2025. That is the latest reviewed reporting, not a confirmation of current legal ownership. Her publicly documented property history also includes a Manhattan apartment, two separate Los Angeles homes, a Montecito Tudor assembled from antique English barns, and a temporary London rental while filming Wicked.

These are reported transaction figures, not an audited account of Grande’s assets or investment performance. A purchase-to-sale price difference alone does not show profit or loss after expenses.

2018–2021: Chelsea apartment in New York City

Architectural Digest reported in 2025 that Grande bought a roughly 4,000-square-foot apartment in a Zaha Hadid-designed Chelsea building in 2018 for a reported $16 million, then sold it in 2021 for a reported $13.5 million. The five-bedroom building offered amenities including an IMAX theater, sauna, spa, and pool.

Pete Davidson later recalled staying there in an interview with GQ, as quoted by Architectural Digest. He described Grande calling it “our house,” then joked that they had six beanbags but no forks. His comments offer a glimpse of the apartment as a home, rather than evidence about its ownership or transaction terms.

2020–2021: Modern Hollywood Hills home

Grande bought a newly built, three-story home in the Bird Streets area of the Hollywood Hills in June 2020 for a reported $13.7 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. Designed by iDGroup with Woods + Dangaran, the home was planned to frame views from the canyon toward the ocean. The Times described more than 10,000 square feet, four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, an infinity-edge pool, fitness studio, cedar-lined wellness center, bar, and 300-bottle wine cellar.

The same outlet reported that the property had previously been offered for $25.5 million and later $17.495 million before Grande’s off-market purchase. In October 2021, the Los Angeles Times reported its sale for $14 million. That is a $300,000 difference between the two reported transaction prices; it is not a measure of net profit, since the figures do not account for costs such as taxes, fees, maintenance, or financing.

2020–2022: Porter House in Montecito

The Los Angeles Times reported that Grande bought Porter House from Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi in 2020 for $6.75 million. The Tudor-style property sits on more than an acre and was built in the 1980s using two antique barns brought from the English countryside. Architectural Digest says the barns were originally built in Surrey in the 1700s.

The two structures have separate chef’s kitchens and are connected by a central breezeway. Other reported details include period windows, painted brick floors, exposed-beam cathedral ceilings, and a great-room fireplace. Grande and Dalton Gomez married at the house in May 2021, according to Architectural Digest. The Los Angeles Times later reported the purchase; Architectural Digest’s 2025 retrospective says Grande sold the property off-market in fall 2022 for $9.1 million.

2021–2024: Bird Streets cottage

This was a different property from the large modern Hollywood Hills home Grande sold in 2021. Architectural Digest reported that she bought a 1946 cottage in the Bird Streets neighborhood in 2021 for $8.9 million. At about 1,590 square feet, it was far smaller than the three-story modern house and had a two-car garage and a patio with an angular pool.

Architectural Digest and ELLE Decor reported that Grande sold the cottage to Bad Bunny for $8.3 million in early 2024; ELLE Decor dates the sale to January. The reported sale price was lower than the reported purchase price, but those figures do not establish her net gain or loss after the costs of owning and selling the property.

2022: Hollywood Hills house formerly owned by Cameron Diaz

Architectural Digest reported that Grande paid Cameron Diaz $4.9 million in 2022 for a midcentury-style house in the Hollywood Hills. Its account describes a 1,800-square-foot, two-bedroom home built in 1950 on a half-acre plot. In December 2025, Architectural Digest called it Grande’s current residence.

That current-residence description reflects the latest reviewed reporting, not an independent check of present-day title records. Architectural Digest and ELLE Decor differ on the house’s bathroom count, so that detail is not included here.

London: a temporary rental while filming Wicked

Architectural Digest reported that Grande rented an apartment in the Buxmead development on The Bishops Avenue in Hampstead while filming Wicked and Wicked: For Good. The reported rental period was December 2022 to January 2024, interrupted by the 2023 actors’ strike. The coverage documents a temporary rental, not a purchase or a continuing residence.

In a March 2025 statement to The Standard, reproduced by Architectural Digest, Grande said she enjoyed walks on Hampstead Heath and visiting local shops and pubs. Her comments describe her experience of the neighborhood, not the terms or ownership of the apartment.

What the reported prices do—and do not—show

The figures above track reported purchases and sales for individual properties. They do not establish Grande’s overall real-estate portfolio, current holdings beyond the latest residence description, or investment returns. Differences between a reported purchase price and sale price are not the same as profit: property expenses, taxes, fees, renovations, financing, and the timing of payments can affect the outcome, and those figures are not provided in the cited accounts.
