Angus T. Jones was reported to earn substantial sums on Two and a Half Men, but there is no reliable public figure for how much he made after the sitcom. The claim that he made “almost nothing” is not established: a limited acting résumé does not reveal someone’s full income, and no cited source discloses his later earnings, residuals, investments, or total wealth.
What did Angus T. Jones earn on Two and a Half Men?
Two dated reports describe Jones’s pay during the sitcom’s run, but neither is a complete accounting of his lifetime compensation.

- Reported rate in 2010: Guinness World Records says Jones was reported to earn $250,000 per episode in May 2010. Guinness attributes the figure to a New York Post survey of casting agents, talent agents, and television executives. It is a reported rate, not a verified payment record. Guinness World Records
- Statement in 2012: CBS president and CEO Les Moonves was quoted as saying Jones was making and still collecting more than $300,000 per week. CBS Los Angeles reported the statement on December 5, 2012: CBS Los Angeles. This was a contemporaneous executive’s claim, not a published contract or an audited total.
The two figures describe different things: one is a per-episode rate reported in 2010, while the other is a weekly amount Moonves said Jones was making and collecting in 2012. Neither shows Jones’s total compensation over the entire series, his take-home pay after taxes and other deductions, or how much he retained.
Why the show’s episode count cannot establish his total pay
A 2017 Nickelodeon/Paramount announcement says Two and a Half Men ran for 12 seasons and 262 episodes. That is the show’s total, not Jones’s personal episode count. Nickelodeon and Paramount

Multiplying 262 episodes by the reported $250,000 rate would produce a misleading estimate. The figure is a reported rate from 2010, not proof that Jones appeared in or was paid that amount for every episode. The available sources do not establish his complete episode count, contract terms, payment history, or deductions.
What is known about his career after his regular role?
Jones’s regular role ended after season 10, according to Celebrity Net Worth’s career summary. The same source says he appeared briefly in the 2015 series finale, had a cameo in Bookie in 2023, and took a business role at Tonite in 2016. Those public credits support the limited conclusion that his screen work after the sitcom was comparatively sparse. They do not provide a complete employment record or quantify earnings from acting, business activities, or any other source. Nor do they establish that Jones retired permanently.
Is Angus T. Jones’s net worth $20 million?
Celebrity Net Worth estimated Jones’s net worth at $20 million on a page last updated September 14, 2026. That is the website’s estimate, not a financial disclosure from Jones or an audited statement. The page does not provide a transparent accounting of his assets, debts, taxes, residuals, or income over time. It therefore cannot establish either his current income or what he earned after leaving the sitcom.

What happened after the 2012 controversy?
In 2012, Jones publicly criticized the show. CBS Los Angeles reported Moonves’s response and quoted Jones’s apology, which expressed gratitude and respect for the people he had worked with. CBS Los Angeles
At the time, CBS reported that Jones’s status had not been resolved. That contemporaneous account does not support simplifying the subsequent change in his role as an immediate firing. His regular role ended after season 10, followed by the later credits noted above.

What can—and can’t—be concluded about his later finances?
- Supported: Jones had substantial reported pay during Two and a Half Men, based on the 2010 reported episode rate and Moonves’s 2012 statement.
- Supported with limits: Publicly listed screen credits after his regular role are relatively few.
- Not established: His total post-sitcom earnings, current income, residual payments, investments, and complete financial position.
- Not established: That he made “almost nothing,” is broke, or is financially set for life.
Acting credits are not a complete income statement. Without a disclosure from Jones or reliable, transparent financial records, neither a sparse screen résumé nor a third-party net-worth estimate answers how much money he earned after the show.
