U.S. Prime members can save 10¢ per gallon at participating bp, Amoco, ampm and Thorntons stations after linking an Amazon account to a free bp earnify account. Through Jan. 29, 2027, a limited-time Friday promotion raises the discount to 20¢ per gallon on one purchase each Friday. Amazon also announced a bp pulse EV-charging savings offer for 2025, but its launch and current terms are not verified.
What Prime members can save on gasoline
Amazon currently lists a regular discount of 10¢ per gallon at more than 7,500 participating bp, Amoco, ampm and Thorntons locations in the United States. The offer does not apply automatically at every station with one of those brands; check the earnify station locator for participating locations. Amazon describes the regular offer on its Prime fuel savings page.

Friday promotion: 20¢ per gallon
From Oct. 2, 2026, through Jan. 29, 2027, Prime members can get a total discount of 20¢ per gallon on one fuel purchase each Friday. That total includes the regular 10¢ discount plus a temporary additional 10¢. The limit is one qualifying purchase per Friday, not an unlimited discount on every fill-up that day. How to activate and redeem the discount
Activation requires a Prime membership and a free bp earnify account. Amazon says members activate once by connecting the two accounts. After linking them, locate a participating station and use one of the supported payment methods at the pump.

- Link the accounts: Start from Amazon’s fuel savings page and follow the account-connection steps.
- Find a participating station: Search in the earnify app or use the earnify locator.
- Redeem at the pump: Enter your earnify-linked phone number, use a linked payment method, or select the station and pump in the earnify app.
Amazon says two adults sharing Prime through Amazon Family can each have a separate earnify account and make separate fuel transactions. This can allow two household transactions to earn savings, subject to the offer’s terms. Details are on Amazon’s fuel page.
How much could the discount be worth?
Amazon estimated nearly $70 in average annual savings in its 2024 announcement. Its calculation assumed 675 gallons of fuel used per year and 21.5 miles per gallon, using average driver statistics it attributed to the U.S. Department of Transportation. The estimate was Amazon’s calculation, not a DOT savings estimate, and Amazon noted that actual savings vary with fuel use and qualifying purchases. Read the 2024 announcement.

Your own result depends on how many gallons you buy at participating stations, whether they fit your regular routes, and how often you use the Friday offer before it ends. To judge the benefit, check nearby stations in the locator and compare your past fuel purchases there; the sources do not provide a location-specific savings calculator.
What happened to the announced EV-charging savings?
The EV language comes from Amazon’s Oct. 23, 2024 announcement. It said Amazon planned to add a bp pulse electric-vehicle charging savings offer in 2025, with more details to come. That was a plan, not confirmation that the offer launched. The available Amazon announcement does not establish current eligibility, redemption steps or savings, so readers should not treat bp pulse charging savings as a verified current Prime benefit. Which older fuel promotions have ended?
Amazon also advertised a 50¢-per-gallon discount on one purchase during July 2–5, 2026, for the Fourth of July. That promotion has expired and is separate from the current 20¢ Friday offer. Its original terms appeared in Amazon’s June 30, 2026 announcement.
