A Q4 2025 orderbook snapshot names 21 airlines with Boeing 737 MAX 10 orders, plus an unannounced category. It is a dated snapshot, not a live confirmation that every order was unchanged as of October 7, 2026. The latest company updates in the available material include orders or plans from Delta, Alaska Airlines and Ryanair; none of the cited forecasts proves the MAX 10 has since received FAA type certification.
Airlines listed as 737 MAX 10 customers
SMBC Aviation Capital’s Plane Insights Q4 2025, published in October 2025 and based on Cirium Fleets Analyzer, lists these airline orderbook names:
- United Airlines
- Ryanair
- American Airlines
- Delta Air Lines
- Pegasus
- VietJet Air
- Alaska Airlines
- Lion Air
- WestJet
- Gol
- IAG Group
- SpiceJet
- SunExpress
- Copa Airlines
- Malaysia Airlines
- Virgin Australia
- Donghai Airlines
- El Al
- Skymark Airlines
- SkyUp Airlines
- Luxair
The chart also includes an “unannounced” category, so the named airlines are not necessarily every customer represented in the order total. SMBC’s October 2025 report described more than 1,000 MAX 10 orders overall and said the model had not entered service at that time.
What the latest cited airline updates say
The orderbook chart does not give a complete current schedule or distinguish every airline’s firm orders from options. The later company statements below add detail for three carriers, but they do not establish the status of every airline on the chart.

| Airline | Order or plan stated | Delivery or certification statement |
|---|---|---|
| Delta Air Lines | Delta said in January 2026 that its prior order was for 100 737-10 MAX aircraft. | Delta said deliveries would begin upon certification; it did not give a calendar delivery date in the cited statement. |
| Alaska Airlines | Boeing announced in January 2026 that Alaska ordered 105 737-10s with options for 35, bringing Alaska’s MAX orderbook to 174 aircraft. | The cited Boeing announcement did not state a MAX 10 delivery start date. |
| Ryanair | Ryanair Holdings’ 2026 Form 20-F for the year ended March 31, 2026, reports up to 300 MAX 10 aircraft: 150 firm orders and 150 options. | Ryanair’s May 2026 FY26 results reported Boeing’s expectation of certification in late summer 2026 and first delivery of 15 aircraft in spring 2027. Both were forecasts, not confirmation that either milestone occurred. |
Ryanair’s Form 20-F says deliveries are scheduled from 2027 through 2033. That schedule applies to the filing’s stated arrangement of up to 300 aircraft, including options; it should not be read as a claim that all 300 are firm orders.
Has the FAA certified the 737 MAX 10?
The cited material does not establish that the FAA had certified the MAX 10 by October 7, 2026. SMBC Aviation Capital’s October 2025 report described entry into service as delayed into 2026. Ryanair later reported Boeing’s expectation that certification would come in late summer 2026, but that was a company-reported forecast rather than a completed certification announcement.

The FAA’s September 26, 2025 statement about limited delegation of airworthiness-certificate issuance for some 737 MAX and 787 aircraft is not a MAX 10 type-certification announcement. An individual aircraft’s airworthiness certificate and a new model’s type certification are different approvals; the former does not establish the latter.

“Waiting” is a convenient shorthand, but it can blur different order and planning situations. A chart entry establishes that an airline appeared in that orderbook snapshot; by itself, it does not show that the airline’s order remained unchanged, when it expects delivery, or how much it depends on the MAX 10.

- Firm orders: An order category explicitly identified as firm, such as Ryanair’s 150 firm aircraft in its 2026 filing.
- Options: The right to order additional aircraft, not the same as a firm delivery commitment. Alaska’s 35 options and Ryanair’s 150 options are stated separately from their order figures.
- Delivery forecasts: Dates or periods announced by a company or manufacturer are expectations tied to that statement’s date, not proof of a completed certification or delivery.
- Orderbook listings: The October 2025 SMBC/Cirium snapshot is useful for identifying customers, but the cited evidence does not verify subsequent revisions across every listed airline.
Accordingly, the list is best read as a dated set of MAX 10 orderbook names, with a few later company updates—not as a fully verified October 2026 delivery roster.
