The APSC admit-card notice covered Scientific Officer (SO) and Junior Scientific Officer (JSO) recruitment under Advertisement No. 26/2023. Scroll reported on June 18, 2024, that eligible candidates could download their hall tickets through the Assam Public Service Commission website. The exams listed in that notice took place in June 2024, so this is a historical notice—not a current release. [Scroll]
How candidates were told to download the APSC SO/JSO admit card
Scroll’s June 18, 2024 report directed eligible candidates to the APSC website. It did not identify the login fields required, and the old download route’s current availability is not established. For current notices, start at the official APSC website; do not assume a 2024 download link remains active.
- Visit apsc.nic.in.
- Select the SO/JSO 2023 admit-card link.
- Enter the requested login details and submit.
- Check the hall ticket and download it.
- Take a printout for future reference, as the report advised. It did not say that buying paper or printing was mandatory.
Reported exam dates and vacancies
The June 2024 notice concerned two different test windows. Scroll reported 20 vacancies for the recruitment drive. [Scroll]
| Post | Reported test dates |
|---|---|
| Scientific Officer (SO) | June 23–26, 2024 |
| Junior Scientific Officer (JSO) | June 29–30, 2024 (screening test) |
These dates are the schedule reported in 2024, not upcoming exam dates. The schedule, vacancy count, release notice, and download instructions above are attributed to Scroll’s contemporaneous coverage; the underlying APSC notice was not independently available for verification.
