That deadline has passed, so applications for this recruitment are not open now. The original advertisement listed computer-based test dates of 25–26 August 2025 as tentative; those dates do not establish when the exam was ultimately held.
What was AIIMS CRE-2025?
The Common Recruitment Examination (CRE)-2025 was a recruitment initiative for regular non-faculty Group B and Group C posts at participating AIIMS and other Central Government institutes or bodies. The participating organizations were independent entities with their own recruitment rules. AIIMS New Delhi’s Examination Section conducted the examination process, but did not set those organizations’ eligibility rules or make their final appointment decisions.
Participating-body notices also appeared separately. For example, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) circular index lists a notice titled “Recruitment of administrative posts under CRE-2025 through AIIMS, New Delhi,” dated 23 July 2025: ICMR circulars.

How many vacancies were there?
The headline figure of more than 2,300 posts is not confirmed by the official material cited here. The detailed advertisement included a post-wise vacancy annexure, but the aggregate total and any effect of later corrigenda are not established. Check the relevant AIIMS notices and vacancy tables before relying on a total.
What did the exam and eligibility process involve?
The advertisement described a 90-minute computer-based examination with 100 multiple-choice questions. Eligibility depended on the criteria for the specific post group, so candidates needed to consult the detailed advertisement rather than assume that a general application qualified them for every role. Submitting an application or taking the exam did not itself validate eligibility; the relevant participating organization remained responsible for verification and appointment decisions.

What were the application fees?
The original 2025 advertisement listed these fees:
- General and OBC candidates: ₹3,000.
- SC, ST and EWS candidates: ₹2,400.
- Persons with disabilities: no fee.
Candidates applying for more than one post group had to submit a separate application and pay the fee separately for each group. These were the terms in the 2025 advertisement, not a fee schedule for any later recruitment cycle.
