NORCET-7 registration is closed. AIIMS accepted applications from 1 to 21 August 2024, and the exam dates have passed. This guide explains how the 2024 application process worked; it is not instructions for an open application. For the current cycle, check the official NORCET-11 notification and AIIMS examination portal notices for current dates and rules.
When did NORCET-7 registration start, and what was the last date to apply?
AIIMS Notice No. 99/2024, dated 31 July 2024, set the online application period for 1–21 August 2024, closing at 5:00 pm. The same notice scheduled an edit window from 22 to 24 August 2024, also closing at 5:00 pm. These dates are historical, not a current application window. The original notice listed registration-status and rejected-image or deficiency correction through 2 September 2024. AIIMS later extended that deadline to 3 September 2024 at 5:00 pm in Notice 118/2024. AIIMS Notice 118/2024
How did the AIIMS NORCET-7 application process work?
For the 2024 cycle, candidates applied online and were screened against the eligibility criteria in Advertisement No. 82/2024. AIIMS said eligibility information would be sent to the email address registered by the candidate and advised applicants to monitor email, SMS and the official website for updates. The brochure also emphasized institute preferences: where institute choices applied, candidates who did not submit them would not be eligible for allocation to those institutes. AIIMS described allocation as a three-stage online process:
- Apply to institute(s): Candidates applied to institute(s) according to their NORCET-7 Stage-II rank and the applicable process.
- Receive an offer: An institute offered a post, subject to the applicable criteria and available vacancies.
- Accept and report: The candidate accepted the offer and reported as required.
Allocation was based on NORCET rank, qualifying criteria and vacancies, and remained subject to eligibility and document verification by the recruiting institute or hospital. The brochure is the relevant source for the historic cycle’s process; it should not be treated as a substitute for the rules in a later notification.

What were the NORCET-7 exam dates and admit-card arrangements?
AIIMS scheduled Stage I online CBT for 15 September 2024 and Stage II for 4 October 2024; both dates have passed. The notice described examination centres as cities across India. It said city information would be provided one week before the exam and admit cards uploaded two days before it. AIIMS Notice No. 99/2024
Is NORCET-7 registration open now?
No. NORCET-7 was the 2024 cycle and its registration period is over. AIIMS’s portal surfaced a NORCET-11th Phase notification for 2026. To determine whether that cycle is accepting applications, and to confirm its deadlines, eligibility and application instructions, consult the current notices on the official AIIMS examination portal. Do not carry over NORCET-7 dates or rules to a newer cycle.

Which eligibility and fee details should applicants verify?
The official passages cited here do not establish NORCET-7’s detailed educational, nursing-registration, experience or age requirements, nor the application fee or accepted payment methods. For the historic cycle, consult Advertisement No. 82/2024 and the NORCET-7 brochure. Anyone applying in a later cycle should use that cycle’s own official notification and brochure rather than relying on old eligibility or fee information.
