ALDI said its 2025 Thanksgiving shopping list could feed 10 for $40, or $4 per person. The company’s stated prices were effective October 15 through December 24, 2025—not a confirmed 2026 offer. The newsroom listing reviewed on October 7, 2026, included the 2025 announcement but did not show a 2026 Thanksgiving offer; that limited check does not establish whether ALDI announced one elsewhere or later. What ALDI’s $40 Thanksgiving offer included
ALDI’s October 15, 2025 announcement described a meal for 10 built around a 14-pound Jennie-O turkey and ingredients for nine sides. The company called it a 21-product list. These were items shoppers bought individually, not a fixed-price boxed meal. ALDI said no coupons or memberships were needed. ALDI’s 2025 announcement.

What the $40 figure does—and does not—tell you
ALDI presented $40 as the total for its specified 2025 list, equivalent to $4 per person if divided among 10. The release said actual cost could vary with product availability and selections, and that online prices could vary slightly by area. The “feeds 10” estimate is ALDI’s claim; the available announcement does not establish an independent serving-size test.

It is not evidence that a comparable Thanksgiving basket at another grocery store would cost more. A fair comparison would need the same year, location, serving count, quantities, meal components, product types, and treatment of fees, coupons, and membership requirements.
How ALDI said shoppers could buy the list
For the 2025 promotion period, ALDI named in-store shopping, curbside pickup, and delivery through Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash. Those are historical ordering routes, not confirmation that each service is available for this list, at every store, or in 2026. Check the local store and delivery apps for current coverage, prices, and product availability.
