Australia’s Afterpay Day ran twice in 2025: 20–23 March and 14–17 August. Both sales have ended. Afterpay’s current event page says the next Afterpay Day is expected in March 2027, so the deals below are historical examples—not live offers or current prices.
When was Afterpay Day 2025?
The Australian event took place in two four-day windows:

- 20–23 March 2025: Afterpay’s merchant help page says the event commenced on 20 March; its Hype Phase began on 17 March, and merchants had to submit offers by 7 March for the event directory.
- 14–17 August 2025: Afterpay’s merchant FAQ gives the start as 8:00am AEST/NZST on Thursday 14 August and the finish as 11:59pm AEST/NZST on Sunday 17 August.
Afterpay describes the event as biannual. Its current Australian event page says it is returning in March 2027. Check Afterpay’s current event page for updated information.
What deals were on during Afterpay Day 2025?
March coverage included offers across electronics, appliances and audio. TechRadar reported these examples and savings at the time:

Where could shoppers browse Afterpay Day offers?
Afterpay said shoppers could find offers through participating retailer websites and stores, as well as the Afterpay app. The event covered fashion, beauty, homewares, technology and other categories; participation was not universal.

For August 2025, Afterpay said submitted merchant offers could appear in its Shop Directory. Merchants could choose which day within the four-day event their offer ended, and campaign creative had to be removed by 11:59pm on 17 August. The merchant FAQ’s directory timing and account requirements applied to Australian and New Zealand merchant submissions: offers were due by 5:00pm local time on Friday 8 August to appear at the selected start time, and display in both countries was limited to merchants registered for Cross Border Trade or holding accounts in both countries. How to judge a sale price
A product appearing in an Afterpay Day roundup does not establish that it was the best available price, that stock remained available, or that a discount applied to every payment method. For any comparable offer, check:

- To access your card information safely, type the complete website address shown on your Gift Card (MyGift.GiftCardMall.com) directly into your browser's address bar. Don't use search engines or shortened versions of the website address, as these may lead you to fake or fraudulent sites. Do not provide any Gift Card details (example: Card Number) to someone you do not know or trust. If you believe you've reached an illegitimate website, contact cardholder service at 1-888-524-1283. Be cautious of phishing sites, there are a variety of scams in which fraudsters try to trick others into paying with gift cards.
- To report your Lost or Stolen Physical Visa Card, call Customer Service 24/7 at 1 (888) 524-1283 to cancel your Gift Card as soon as you can. You will be asked to provide the Gift Card number and other identifying information.
- Use your Visa Gift Card in the U.S. everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, including online.
- the exact model, size, storage or other configuration;
- the retailer, offer dates and sale price compared with the stated starting price;
- stock, delivery charges and delivery timing;
- exclusions and any checkout or payment-method requirements.
Afterpay’s March 2025 merchant page cited a 41% average revenue increase among businesses that participated in Afterpay Day 2024. That is a merchant-side figure published by Afterpay, not a measure of shopper savings or an independent estimate. The page does not establish aggregate savings for shoppers. Do not assume a listed promotion is available regardless of payment method: the historical coverage and merchant guidance do not establish the checkout terms for every offer. Check the individual retailer’s conditions before buying. Afterpay also says eligibility criteria, late fees, retailer terms and conditions apply.
