This is an archived February 2024 deadline notice, not a current application alert. A Scroll.in report published February 19, 2024 said registration for the AIMA MAT February 2024 Paper-Based Test (PBT) closed on February 20, 2024—“tomorrow” from the report’s publication date.
What were the February 2024 MAT dates?
Scroll.in’s contemporaneous February 19, 2024 report listed these dates for the February 2024 PBT:
| Event | Reported date |
|---|---|
| PBT registration deadline | February 20, 2024 |
| Admit card availability | February 22, 2024 |
| PBT test | February 25, 2024 |
These dates are reported in Scroll.in’s February 19, 2024 notice. The retrieved sources do not include the original archived AIMA notice, so the dates should be understood as contemporaneous secondary reporting.
Which MAT mode did the deadline apply to?
The February 20 deadline cited in the report applies to the Paper-Based Test (PBT). AIMA’s 2023–24 annual report confirms that MAT was conducted in February 2024 and that the exam year included Internet-Based (IBT), Paper-Based (PBT), and Computer-Based (CBT) modes. That confirmation does not establish registration deadlines for IBT or CBT, so the reported PBT deadline should not be generalized to those modes.

How can applicants check the current MAT schedule?
The February 2024 deadline has passed. AIMA’s current test-dates page lists session-specific dates, including December 2026 dates as of October 7, 2026. For an upcoming application, use AIMA’s official MAT site and check the schedule for the intended session. Current eligibility, fees, exam structure, and dates should be taken from AIMA’s current pages rather than assumed from a 2024 notice; see AIMA’s current MAT information and current test dates.
