These were the Pokémon Day offers listed by Laptop Mag on February 24, 2025—not a current deal list. The article’s headline says nine deals, and its quick links contain nine entries, although its descriptive sections also mention additional products and a broader sale. Prices below are historical U.S. snapshots; check the retailer’s listing for today’s price, stock, shipping, and eligibility before buying.
What the 2025 Pokémon Day roundup included
Laptop Mag framed Pokémon Day as February 27, 2025, and described the occasion as the 29th anniversary of the first Pokémon game’s release in Japan in 1996. The roundup mixed Nintendo Switch games and accessories with storage cards and collectibles, so “deal” did not always mean one individual product.
Its quick-link list contained nine entries. The article’s descriptive sections also mention a Pokémon-themed 512GB microSD card, a Pikachu 256GB card, and a BoxLunch sale, which makes the supplied title’s count ambiguous. Here are the nine quick-link entries, with their reported prices as of the article’s February 24, 2025 update:
| Quick-link offer | Reported price and retailer |
|---|---|
| PowerA Nintendo Switch Wireless Controller (Pokémon Blossom) | $37, down from $60, at Amazon |
| PowerA Nintendo Switch Case (Pikachu) | $14, down from $19, at Amazon |
| Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! | $49, down from $59, at Amazon |
| Detective Pikachu Returns | $29, down from $49, at Amazon; the listing was described as an EU version that works with all Nintendo Switch consoles |
| Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet | $49 each, down from $59, at Walmart |
| Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Dual Pack | $103, down from $119, at Walmart |
| Pokémon Legends: Arceus | $50, down from $59, at Walmart |
| SanDisk Pokémon Snorlax 1TB microSD card | $99, down from $135, at Amazon |
| Hori Nintendo Switch Split Pad Compact (Pikachu & Mimikyu) | $45, down from $60, at Amazon |
Other products and sale categories mentioned
The roundup’s descriptive copy went beyond those nine quick links. It mentioned a Pokémon-themed SanDisk 512GB microSD card for $63, down from $70, at Walmart, and a Pikachu-themed 256GB card for $34 at Best Buy. It also described Pokémon Funko Pop! figures starting at $7 on Amazon, with selected figures discounted by up to 54%; named characters included Gengar, Bulbasaur, and Charmander. A Blaziken figure appeared in the quick links at $7, down from $13. BoxLunch advertised Pokémon Day deals of up to 50% off.

How to read these prices before you shop
- They are historical, not live quotes. Every figure above comes from the article last updated February 24, 2025. It does not establish present-day price, inventory, shipping cost, or whether a promotion is still available.
- Check the exact game listing. In particular, the article identified Detective Pikachu Returns as an EU version. Confirm the version and listing details with the seller rather than relying only on a headline or product image.
- Compare the offer with the total cost. Verify the current price against the seller’s stated regular price, then account for shipping and availability before deciding whether the discount is worthwhile.
- Match accessories and storage to your needs. The roundup includes different controller designs and microSD capacities; compare the product’s form factor or capacity with the device and use you have in mind.
