What is the Ferrari FXX K Evo?
Ferrari unveiled the FXX K Evo at the Finali Mondiali at Mugello on October 29, 2017. Ferrari described it as both an extremely limited-run model and an upgrade package for existing XX cars. It belongs to the XX Programme: a track-only development project for a select community of Ferrari owners, rather than a car presented for public-road use. Ferrari’s December 2017 article describes the Evo as a development project and track-only testbed; the launch announcement records its unveiling and limited-run positioning.
How much does a Ferrari FXX K Evo cost?
Ferrari’s launch material does not publish an official purchase price for a new FXX K Evo, and the reviewed sources do not establish an authoritative original acquisition cost. Because Ferrari offered the Evo both as a model and as an upgrade package, the cost could also depend on which route an owner acquired.
For resale context, RM Sotheby’s recorded a €5,180,000 sale for a 2018 example at its 2026 Monaco auction. This is one transaction, not an official Ferrari price, a typical valuation, or a current market range. Auction outcomes can vary with provenance, specification, condition, included services, fees, taxes, and buyer location.

How much horsepower does the FXX K Evo have?
Ferrari’s XX Programme brochure lists 1,050 hp of combined output for the FXX K and FXX-K Evo. The brochure does not state a publication year in the retrieved source, and it presents the figure for both cars rather than as a separate Evo-only measurement. Ferrari’s XX Programme brochure also gives a downforce figure at a specific speed, which should not be conflated with Ferrari’s separate V-max claim.
FXX K versus FXX K Evo: what changed?
The Evo’s defining distinction in Ferrari’s published figures is its aerodynamic development. Ferrari said the Evo produces 23 percent more downforce than the FXX K and generates 830 kg of downforce at V-max. The V-max figure is tied to that stated operating condition; it is not directly interchangeable with the brochure’s figure at 200 km/h.

Ferrari’s Evo article is the source for the percentage increase and V-max figure. The different speeds and scopes matter: the brochure’s 530 kg figure is shared by the FXX K and Evo at 200 km/h, while Ferrari’s later article reports 830 kg for the Evo at V-max.
How many FXX K Evo cars were made?
Ferrari called the FXX K Evo extremely limited-run but did not give an exact production total in the reviewed launch materials. Without a verified total, claims that a specific number were built should not be treated as established by those sources.

Is the FXX K Evo street legal?
Ferrari describes the FXX K Evo as track-only. That is the supported description of its intended use; it does not by itself settle registration or road-legality requirements in every jurisdiction.
