Celebrity Net Worth estimates Brent Spiner’s net worth at $16 million. That figure is not a confirmed financial disclosure: the site does not show a transparent calculation, and the sources reviewed do not establish Spiner’s current assets, debts, income, or total wealth.
What is Brent Spiner’s net worth?
Celebrity Net Worth reports an estimated net worth of $16 million for Spiner. Its page was checked October 3, 2026, but gives no publication date and does not explain how the estimate was calculated. Treat it as a secondary publisher’s estimate, not a verified balance sheet or a figure confirmed by Spiner.
A June 18, 2026 article from 2A Magazine also points to the lack of primary substantiation for the estimate. That is secondary commentary, not an independent financial disclosure or verification of the amount.
Why the figure cannot be treated as confirmed wealth
A reliable net-worth calculation requires evidence about both assets and liabilities. The sources reviewed do not establish Spiner’s current holdings, debts, income breakdown, or an audited valuation. Nor do they provide a transparent method for turning career activity into the $16 million estimate.

Career credits and descriptions of reported earnings, where present on celebrity-finance pages, do not by themselves establish what someone owns, owes, or retains after expenses and taxes. No independently authoritative publisher and year for a verified personal-wealth statistic was identified.
What Spiner’s career record does establish
StarTrek.com’s February 2, 2020 profile says Spiner began his career on stage and played Data for 15 years, from Star Trek: The Next Generation through Star Trek: Nemesis. It also notes screen work in Star Trek: First Contact, Independence Day, and Phenomenon.
The profile says Spiner helped develop the story for Star Trek: Nemesis and received a “story by” co-credit. These are documented career facts, not evidence of his compensation or net worth. In a 2011 StarTrek.com interview, he described his approach to playing Data: “I think fairly quickly because I realized pretty early on that there was really no precedent for it, that I could do pretty much anything I wanted and the audience would either accept it or they wouldn’t.” The interview discusses acting and other career work; it makes no claim about his finances.

Readers interested in his life and work can turn to his memoir, Fan Fiction: A Mem-Noir: Inspired by True Events. A 2021 author interview with the Los Angeles Public Library provides book context. The memoir is a source about Spiner’s life and perspective, not evidence supporting the $16 million estimate.
