Amazon’s U.S. Prime Big Deal Days sale is in its final hours: the company says it ends Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time (2:59 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, October 8). The title’s “this weekend” timing no longer applies. Amazon’s live roundup lists deals across more than 35 categories, but prices and availability can change, and the 25 offers below have not been independently verified as live. Check each product page before buying.
What to know before shopping
- Deadline: Amazon says the U.S. event runs October 6–7 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7. That is 2:59 a.m. EDT on October 8.
- Prime access: Amazon describes these as member-exclusive deals, so a Prime membership is required to access them. Amazon’s current event roundup lists U.S. membership at $14.99 monthly or $139 annually and says eligible customers may start a free 30-day trial; confirm eligibility and terms before signing up.
- Scope: Amazon says the sale spans more than 35 categories, including technology, home, beauty, fashion, toys, grocery and fitness. The company describes Prime Big Deal Days as a 48-hour event.
- Offers can change: Amazon says deals last while supplies last and that offers and availability are subject to change. It says Today’s Big Deals drop at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT.

How to judge whether a deal is actually good
- Open the exact product page. Match the model, size, pack count, color or attachments to the item you want. A discount on a different variant is not a like-for-like comparison.
- Check the checkout price. Review any coupon checkbox, shipping charge or other condition shown before you place the order. Do not assume the displayed percentage is the final price.
- Look at price history. Amazon says product pages may show Price History for up to 365 days. Use it to put the current price in context; the feature itself does not prove a deal is a bargain.
- Compare the seller and fulfillment details. Confirm who is selling and shipping the item, and review the return terms on that listing.
- Compare useful specifications, not just discounts. For electronics and appliances, match features and compatibility to your needs; for multipacks, compare unit price; for home goods, confirm size and quantity.
- Recheck before paying. Amazon says offers and availability can change and deals last only while supplies last. A product’s event-page discount may disappear before the event deadline.
Amazon also says customers can use Alexa for Shopping to see up to 365 days of pricing. As with product-page Price History, treat this as a price-checking aid rather than independent validation of a discount.

Amazon describes the offers as Prime-member exclusive, so Prime membership is required for these event deals. Membership pricing and trial eligibility can change; check Amazon’s current terms before enrolling. Amazon lists different dates for participating countries, so the U.S. deadline does not apply everywhere.
