The 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid starts at $46,490 MSRP for the EX with front-wheel drive. Kia’s separately listed $1,545 destination charge brings that announced price to $48,035 before taxes, title, license, options, dealer charges, or any negotiated price difference. The hybrid is not plug-in: it recharges through captured braking and deceleration energy.
What the $46,490 price includes—and excludes
Kia America announced the hybrid’s pricing on February 26, 2026. The $46,490 figure is the EX FWD’s manufacturer’s suggested retail price, not an out-the-door price. Kia lists a $1,545 destination charge separately, making the EX FWD’s MSRP plus destination $48,035. Kia says its MSRP excludes taxes, title, license, options, and dealer charges, and that dealer prices may vary. Check the buyer’s order for the actual transaction total. Kia’s pricing announcement
Published hybrid prices by trim and drivetrain
Kia’s February 2026 announcement published prices for four configurations. The listed MSRP excludes the destination charge in every row; the second price adds Kia’s $1,545 destination charge, but still excludes taxes, title, license, options, and dealer charges.

Kia’s official trim material names five versions: EX, SX, X-Line SX, SX Prestige, and X-Line SX Prestige. Its February announcement excerpt does not give prices for every top trim, so do not infer those prices from the listed configurations. What the hybrid powertrain delivers
Kia describes a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 1.65-kWh lithium-ion battery and electric motors. The system is rated by Kia at 329 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque and uses a six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available. Fuel economy and range depend on configuration
Kia’s model page lists EPA-estimated city/highway/combined mileage of 34/36/35 mpg for EX FWD, 32/34/33 mpg for SX FWD, and 30/32/31 mpg for AWD trims. Kia’s announcement also gives the EX FWD an estimated 637-mile total range. That range and the 35-mpg combined estimate are for the EX FWD; they should not be applied to AWD or other trims. It does not need to be plugged in

Kia says the Telluride Hybrid has a standard 4,500-pound towing capacity and offers self-leveling rear suspension. Treat the towing figure as Kia’s published rating, and confirm the limit for the specific configuration and equipment before towing. Kia America’s announcement

Passenger capacity and second-row seating
An Associated Press-hosted Edmunds comparison published May 20, 2026, describes the Telluride Hybrid as a seven-passenger SUV with standard second-row captain’s chairs. In that comparison, the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid also has standard captain’s chairs but offers an eight-passenger bench configuration. Warranty
Kia advertises a 10-year/100,000-mile Hybrid Powertrain Limited Warranty. That headline does not establish that every owner or component is covered under identical conditions; review Kia’s current warranty document for eligibility, covered parts, exclusions, and other terms before relying on it. How to compare the price with another three-row SUV
A May 20, 2026 AP-hosted Edmunds comparison reported that the Telluride Hybrid started $7,300 above the gas Telluride when destination was included. That is comparison context from the article’s publication date, not a current universal price gap; confirm both vehicles’ current base prices and compare equivalent drivetrains and equipment.
