What were the terms of the $259 Mach-E lease?
Notebookcheck reported the following terms for the promotion:
- Vehicle: 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium AWD with the extended-range battery.
- Payment: $259 per month for 36 months.
- Cash due at signing: $4,219.
- Security deposit: None, according to the report.
- Availability: Existing stock at authorized Ford dealers in the United States, subject to dealer availability.
- Reported end date: September 2, 2025.
Notebookcheck’s August 23, 2025 report attributed the offer to Ford, but the historical terms were not independently confirmed on a still-live Ford offer page. Ford’s current offer page explains that incentives and offers vary by location and can change; it does not verify the old $259 payment. Check Ford’s current Mach-E offers and contact a local dealer for a live quote.
What does $259 a month leave out?
The monthly payment alone does not show the full cost of the lease. The reported terms included $4,219 due at signing, and the report did not state the mileage allowance. It also did not specify taxes, title, license, acquisition or dealer fees, or the total drive-off amount.

Before comparing a current lease with the old promotion or another EV, ask the dealer for a written quote showing:
- Monthly payment and lease term.
- Total due at signing, with each upfront charge itemized.
- Allowed mileage per year and the charge for excess mileage.
- Taxes, title, license, acquisition and dealer fees.
- Any applicable rebates or eligibility conditions.
- Potential end-of-lease charges and the vehicle’s exact trim and battery.
- Whether charging equipment or installation is included.
Compare total upfront costs as well as the monthly payment. A low advertised payment is not enough to establish which lease costs less when mileage limits, fees, incentives and vehicle configuration differ.

What range and battery did this AWD version have?
Ford lists an 88 kWh usable battery capacity and an EPA-estimated range of 300 miles for the 2025 Premium extended-range eAWD configuration. The 300-mile figure is an EPA estimate, not a guarantee of the distance a driver will get on every charge. Ford also lists 370 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque for the extended-range eAWD configuration.
These specifications apply to the extended-range AWD configuration described in the lease report; they should not be assumed for every 2025 Mach-E. See Ford’s 2025 Mach-E model information and Ford’s 2025 technical specifications for the configuration details.

Does every 2025 Mach-E include a NACS adapter?
No. Ford’s 2025 order guide notes that, after the Job 2 production change, the NACS fast-charging adapter became optional rather than included with the mobile power cord. Equipment can therefore vary by vehicle. Check the specific car’s window sticker or equipment list before assuming an adapter is included or purchasing one. Ford’s 2025 Mach-E model page is also a starting point for current vehicle information.

Ford’s 2025 product page described a complimentary home charger station with standard installation, while Ford Power Promise materials described date-limited eligibility for retail customers buying or leasing specified EVs through participating dealers. Those materials do not establish that the promotion is active now or that a particular lease qualifies. Ask the dealer to confirm any charger or installation benefit, its eligibility rules and its current validity in writing.
