Groupon’s current U.S. support article says customer support is available through 24/7 chat, not by phone. The four practical routes are chat for an account order, guest-order lookup, gift help, and order self-service for refund or change questions. These are not four staffed contact channels: only chat connects you with support.
1. Start a chat from an order in your account
- Sign in to Groupon and open the FAQ home page.
- Select the order you need help with, then choose chat.
Groupon says chat is available 24 hours a day. It can help with order status, refunds, voucher resends, and account questions, and can connect you to an agent when your request needs one. 2. Look up a guest order
If you checked out without signing in, choose “Look up a guest order” on Groupon’s help page. Enter the order number and the email address you used at checkout. Groupon also says you can access guest purchases by signing in with that checkout email. Groupon Help Center
3. Get help with a gift
For a problem involving a gift you sent or received, choose “Get help with a gift” from the support page. Groupon provides this as a separate route from account-order support and guest-order lookup. Groupon Help Center

4. Check order self-service for refunds or changes
- Open “My Groupons.”
- Select “See Details” next to the purchase.
- Review the options and terms for that deal; use support chat if you still need help.
Refund and cancellation rules depend on the deal type. Groupon’s refund guide, last updated April 2026, covers local deals, Goods Marketplace items, Getaways, and GrouponLive. Some unredeemed local vouchers may qualify for a refund within three days, while Goods returns depend on merchant terms and the deal’s “Need to Know” information. Final-sale orders cannot be canceled or returned under the current guide, so check the terms for your specific purchase rather than assuming a universal refund window. Groupon’s official contact article says support is by chat, not phone, and does not publish a customer-service phone number. Avoid relying on phone numbers or email addresses from unofficial directories as Groupon support contacts; the official route described by Groupon is its help page and chat.
