Walmart lists gift cards, but not confirmed discounts
Walmart’s Black Friday Gift Card Promotions category lists seven items, including Hawaiian Bros and Landry’s $25 email-delivery e-gift cards, Main Event e-gift and physical cards, and Paramount+ e-gift cards. The visible prices are face value. The page establishes that these cards are listed in a Black Friday category; it does not establish that their purchase prices are discounted.

Kroger advertises fuel points, but its offer list is unavailable
Kroger’s Black Friday gift-card page advertises savings on participating cards and 4X fuel points. The captured page does not show which brands qualify, their prices or bonus values, or the promotion dates. Fuel points are a rewards benefit, not necessarily a discount on the gift card’s purchase price.
How to tell whether a gift-card promotion is a real deal
Before counting an offer or buying a card, compare the amount paid with the card’s face value or any clearly stated bonus. Then check the purchase window, eligible brands and formats, redemption dates, blackout conditions, fees, and whether a loyalty account or particular purchase channel is required. A promotional heading alone does not answer those questions.

Kroger’s stated eligibility and redemption limits
Kroger’s page says qualifying purchases must use a Shopper’s Card or eligible linked card. It excludes Kroger-family gift cards, reloadable debit cards, and variable-load financial cards. The offer is subject to availability and may change or be discontinued without notice; products or offers may not be available in every state. Fuel redemption is limited to 35 gallons per purchase, and the fuel offer cannot be combined with other discounts. Because the participating-card inventory did not load, the page does not identify which specific cards meet these terms.

The available retailer pages do not support a count of 17 current Black Friday discounts: Walmart lists seven category items at visible face-value prices, while Kroger’s page does not display its participating offers. A search-indexed archive associates “17 gift card deals live” with an older Cyber Monday headline mentioning Instacart, Apple, and Wayfair, but the underlying article was not retrieved. That historical wording is not evidence of current Black Friday offers.
