What does “Kama La Flor” mean?
The slogan is a play on Kamala Harris’s first name and the title “Como La Flor,” Selena’s song. A product listing explicitly describes that connection. The phrase circulated after Joe Biden left the 2024 presidential race and Harris announced her bid for the Democratic nomination.
What did the shirts look like?
There was more than one design. A version reported by the San Antonio Express-News paired a rose with the words “Latinos for Kamala Harris”; other designs showed Harris surrounded by flowers. A Zazzle product page lists a “Kama La Flor 2024 T-Shirt,” credited to Piotr Kowalczyk / Geek Updated, with a first-publication date of July 30, 2024.
Where can you look for a shirt?
The Zazzle page is a documented example of a matching listing, but its current availability has not been confirmed. Retail listings can change, so check that a product is actually available and matches the design you want before ordering. What did the shirts cost when reported?
On July 29, 2024, the San Antonio Express-News reported prices of $20 for shirts and $40 for sweatshirts. Those are historical prices from that report, not current offers or a guide to what an available listing costs today.
