A January 7, 2026, Allrecipes roundup highlighted seven Trader Joe’s foods and drinks, with reported prices from $1.99 to $6.49. The list ranges from frozen mini tacos to canned cold brew; the prices and product details below are those reported by the roundup, not a guarantee of current prices or local stock.

What the January 2026 roundup featured

These picks cover different occasions rather than competing in one category: quick meals, bakery, breakfast, dessert, portable snacks, and ready-to-drink coffee. The prices and descriptions in the table come from the January 7, 2026, Allrecipes roundup republished by AOL. They were not independently price-checked or tested.

Find Reported price What it is and when it may fit
Mini Beef Tacos $6.49 Frozen, pre-fried small corn tortillas filled with seasoned ground beef. The roundup suggests serving them with salsa or guacamole; they may suit a quick snack or casual meal.
Organic Double Chocolate Batard $4.99 An organic, French-style artisanal loaf made by a French bakery with dark chocolate and cocoa powder. A sweet bakery option for readers curious about chocolate in bread. Trader Joe’s also included the product in its 2025 holiday product lineup.
English Muffin Breakfast Sandwich $4.99 An English muffin with pork sausage, scrambled egg, and cheddar, described as a heat-and-eat breakfast. The roundup reports 18 grams of protein per sandwich; that figure was not independently confirmed.
Affogatos Vanilla Non-Dairy Frozen Desserts $4.49 A vanilla non-dairy frozen dessert accompanied by instant espresso to pour over it. The roundup presents it as a convenient take on an affogato. An official product page for a vanilla non-dairy frozen dessert does not establish that it is this same Affogatos item.
Mini Uncured Pepperoni Sticks $1.99 Two individually sealed servings for a portable savory snack. The roundup reports 13 grams of protein per pack; that figure was not independently confirmed.
Buffalo Style Chicken Meatballs $4.29 Fully cooked chicken meatballs with Monterey Jack cheese and Buffalo-style seasoning. They could work as a heat-and-serve appetizer, sandwich filling, or addition to a meal.
Cold Brew Coffee Black $2.99 A single-serve can of ready-to-drink cold brew coffee, suited to a grab-and-go coffee occasion.

How to choose among the seven

Since the products serve different purposes, the most useful comparison is by occasion and convenience—not a claim that one is objectively best. For a quick savory bite, consider the tacos or meatballs; for breakfast, the sandwich is the ready-to-heat option. The batard and affogato-style dessert cover sweet treats, while the pepperoni sticks and canned coffee are portable choices.

The reported prices run from $1.99 for the pepperoni sticks to $6.49 for the mini tacos. Treat them as a snapshot from the January 2026 article, not a current budget or price promise. The sandwich’s 18-gram protein figure and the pepperoni pack’s 13-gram figure are likewise claims reported by that article.

Check local availability before making a trip

Trader Joe’s says its website does not show every product and directs customers to neighborhood stores for product information. Its product-page guidance also says, “Contact our Crew for current price and availability.” That matters for any item in a seasonal or changing grocery lineup: online listings and an older roundup cannot confirm what a nearby store has now.

For example, Trader Joe’s official page lists a Vanilla Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert at $4.29 per 16 fluid ounces and describes it as vegan and dairy free, but that listing does not confirm the identity, size, price, or current availability of the separately named Affogatos Vanilla Non-Dairy Frozen Desserts in the roundup. Check with a local store for the specific product.
