Travel + Leisure’s 2025 Black Friday luggage deals roundup, updated November 28, 2025, listed 115 offers across suitcases and other travel bags. It reported discounts as high as 81% and prices starting at $10, but those are historical figures from the 2025 shopping event—not verified prices or offers today.
What did the 2025 Black Friday luggage roundup cover?
Travel + Leisure’s roundup included carry-ons, underseaters, checked suitcases, luggage sets, duffels, totes, and related travel bags. The listed brands included Samsonite, Away, Tumi, Travelpro, Béis, Calpak, Monos, and Delsey Paris. The article reported Away at 25% off everything during its 2025 Black Friday sale; that discount applied to the event described in the article, not necessarily to a current promotion.
The roundup reported a maximum discount of 81%, using the Bugatti Brussels three-piece hardside set as its example. It also described offers as starting at $10. These figures characterize the 2025 list; they do not establish current prices, inventory, or whether an item was the best value for a particular traveler.
Examples named in the article
The Amazon section included the Samsonite Freeform two-piece luggage set, Travelpro Maxlite 5 softside expandable carry-on, SwissGear Sion three-piece set, and Coolife three-piece set. Their inclusion documents what the roundup featured in 2025; it does not establish current availability, specifications, or pricing.

Travel + Leisure writer Sophie Dodd said, “As a travel writer, I fly at least once a month.” That is the writer’s description of her travel experience, not evidence that every product in the 115-item list received independent testing. The roundup was a shopping list, not a consistent, independently measured comparison of all its products.
How to evaluate a luggage offer before buying
A discount is useful only if the bag fits your trip and the price is good relative to the current listing. Compare the following factors on the product and retailer pages:
Rank #2
- CARRY-ON DESIGN: Best for 1-5 day trips without the hassle of checking luggage; measures 14.8 x 10 x 21.7 inches, including wheels
- DURABLE AND RELIABLE: Extra-thick hard shell with scratch-resistant finish guards against impact and rough handling
- EXPANDABLE: Increase packing space up to 25% for added flexibility and organization
- ORGANIZED INTERIOR: Keep essentials organized with an interior divider and three zippered pockets
- EFFORTLESS TRAVEL: Navigate with ease thanks to four multi-directional wheels, telescoping handle, and short lift handle
- Bag role: Match a carry-on, underseater, checked case, set, duffel, or tote to how you travel and what you need to pack.
- Capacity and flexibility: Check dimensions, whether a suitcase expands, and what pieces are included in a set. Confirm that dimensions meet the requirements of the airline you plan to use.
- Handling and organization: Review the listing for wheel type, handles, pockets, compression features, and interior organization rather than assuming these are the same across products.
- Offer terms: Compare the current retailer price with the item’s current listing and read the sale terms. A historical discount percentage does not tell you whether a present-day offer is competitive.
- Retailer and availability: Confirm the seller, stock, delivery terms, and return policy on the live listing. The 2025 article does not verify those details today.
Are the 2025 deals still available?
The roundup was updated November 28, 2025, and its prices and discounts refer to that Black Friday period. The article does not establish whether any offer remains available now or what retailers will offer during a later Black Friday sale. Check the retailer’s current product page before relying on a price or discount.
