The available listing does not establish a single current checkout price or a sale deadline for every platform, so verify the price and edition in your own store before buying.
How to check whether the discount applies to you
- Open Activision’s official Buy Now page and choose your platform, or go directly to the regional store you plan to use.
- Check the selected edition and the final checkout price. A discount label alone does not confirm the amount you will pay.
- Look for the offer’s end date on that store’s listing. The available official page does not establish a universal deadline.
- Compare the same edition across eligible storefronts, and confirm taxes or other checkout charges before deciding.
Prices can differ by platform and region. A Steam search result displayed $69.99 for the game, but that does not establish the current sale price or the price on another storefront. Treat the live regional listing as authoritative.
Choose the purchase route that fits
| Route | What it provides | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Cross-Gen / Standard digital edition | The base game; Activision lists this edition across Xbox, Xbox PC, PlayStation, Battle.net and Steam. | Confirm the platform and generation coverage shown by the store before purchase. |
| Vault Edition | The base game plus digital extras, including BlackCell for one season, an Operator Collection, a Mastercraft Weapon Collection, Ultra GobbleGums for Zombies and a Permanent Unlock Token. | Compare the live price difference with the extras you actually want. Availability and pricing vary by store and region. |
| Game Pass | Access through an eligible subscription plan. | You need to keep the subscription active to retain subscription access; this is not the same as buying a copy outright. |
| Physical console edition | Activision lists physical editions for Xbox and PlayStation. | Check disc-drive compatibility and the exact generation bundle. Physical editions do not work on Xbox Series S or a digital-only PS5. |
Activision lists Xbox Play Anywhere for the relevant Xbox purchase route; check the selected listing for the terms and coverage that apply to your account. Digital and physical editions are not interchangeable: the platform label and included entitlements matter.
Know the disc and generation limits
- The PS5 physical edition is for PS5, not PS4.
- A PS4 Cross-Gen Bundle may include a PS5 digital code, but you still need the disc to play that PS5 version.
- Xbox Series S and digital-only PS5 consoles cannot use physical discs.
If you are looking for a disc, search for the exact product name and edition, such as “Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 PS5,” then check the seller’s live price, stock and edition details. The existence of a physical edition does not guarantee availability or a particular retailer price.

A sale label is not enough to show that a deal is unusually good, and the available listings do not confirm a common current price or deadline. Make the decision using the live checkout price for your platform, the edition’s contents, and whether you prefer a purchase or subscription access. If the price is appealing, verify it in the store now—but don’t rush past compatibility or assume the offer expires imminently.
