Before commissioning a Bespoke Rolls-Royce, settle the model and the details that matter to you, then get a dated, itemized quote and delivery estimate from an authorized dealer in your market. The online configurator is a design guide, not a binding final specification: Rolls-Royce advises confirming the design with a local dealership. There is no universal Bespoke surcharge or standard delivery time established for every commission, so price, timing, and ownership terms need to be confirmed for your particular car.
What can Bespoke include?
Rolls-Royce presents Bespoke as collaborative personalization, ranging from color and material selections to individualized details. Examples on its official commissioning and craft pages include a developed paint color, coordinated finishes across materials, bookmatched veneers, embroidery, personalized treadplates, and a Starlight Headliner.
The manufacturer says its exterior palette includes 44,000 colors and that buyers can request development of a new signature color. That is Rolls-Royce’s stated palette count, not an independently audited inventory. See the official Bespoke commissioning page and Bespoke overview.
Bespoke is not the same as Coachbuild
Coachbuild is a separate, invitation-only design collaboration for singular coachbuilt creations. It should not be treated as an option every new-car buyer can order, or as a prerequisite for ordinary Bespoke personalization. Rolls-Royce describes its Private Office as a creative setting supporting Coachbuild, collections, and private commissions.

How much does a bespoke Rolls-Royce cost?
There is no universal Bespoke fee published in the official material reviewed. Rolls-Royce says model prices depend on specification and directs prospective buyers to a local dealership. The final amount depends on the model, market, and choices in the commission; use a dated dealer quote tied to the exact vehicle and specification rather than a headline price for an unrelated one-off car. The Cullinan commissioning page states that prices depend on specification.
What to get in writing
Ask for a quote that separates the vehicle from its additions and identifies:
- The base vehicle and model year, if specified.
- Each selected option and any Bespoke development work, with its price.
- Applicable taxes, delivery or other market charges.
- Deposit amount and payment milestones.
- How specification changes, delays, and cancellation are handled.
The official pages do not publish standard answers for deposits, payment schedules, or change and cancellation terms. These are points to resolve in your written dealer agreement before committing.
Can I customize a Rolls-Royce?
Yes. A buyer can discuss color, materials, trim, and personalized details with the dealer as part of a commission. Start with the Rolls-Royce configurator to explore a design, but treat it as a starting point. Rolls-Royce says the configurator is a guide and recommends confirming the design with a local dealership.

Ask the dealer to identify which elements are standard choices, which incur separate charges or development work, and whether a request is a private commission or falls within Coachbuild. Those categories should not be assumed to have the same availability, process, or price.

How long does a bespoke Rolls-Royce take?
Rolls-Royce says building a motor car takes more than 600 hours, and that complex commissions can take up to four years to develop and construct. These are company-published figures; the four-year statement applies to complex commissions, not an ordinary Bespoke car’s promised wait. The official material reviewed gives no standard delivery estimate for all ordinary commissions.
Have the dealer provide a delivery estimate for your selected model, specification, market, and order date, and ask what could change it. Make sure the estimate and any conditions appear in the order documentation rather than relying on a general production figure.
Which warranty and maintenance terms apply?
Coverage depends on region and vehicle eligibility. On its US ownership page, Rolls-Royce describes a four-year, unlimited-mileage warranty for each new car, measured from first retail sale or registration, whichever occurs earlier. These are US terms, not a global promise. Check the current local warranty documents and ask the dealer to confirm the start date for the specific vehicle. See the US ownership page.

The 2026 US warranty and maintenance manual says qualifying model-year 2026 cars originally purchased from an authorized US dealer are covered for 48 months with unlimited miles; commercial-use vehicles have a 48-month or 100,000-mile limit. These terms should not be generalized to other markets or assumed to match the warranty. Consult the 2026 US warranty and maintenance manual and confirm eligibility with the seller.
Ask about coverage after the initial period
The US ownership page says Service Inclusive can extend service coverage after the initial four years, subject to program availability and terms. Ask which plans are currently offered in your market, what work is covered, whether the plan attaches to your car, and whether it transfers if you sell. The published information does not establish answers that apply to every market or vehicle.

Will bespoke options hold their value?
Do not assume a unique paint color, veneer, or interior will increase resale value or recover its cost. Rolls-Royce says around two-thirds of all its cars ever built remain on the road, but that fleet-survival claim is not evidence of an individual car’s resale premium.
If future liquidity matters, ask the dealer for comparable sales or trade-in evidence for the model and options you are considering. Without market evidence specific to the specification, treat highly personal choices as preferences you are buying for yourself, not as an investment.

For each model or specification you are considering, compare the factors that affect both the purchase and your ownership obligations:
- Intended use and body style.
- Standard equipment versus priced Bespoke additions.
- Whether each requested detail is a standard personalization, a private commission, or invitation-only Coachbuild.
- The dated quote and dealer-confirmed delivery estimate.
- Warranty and maintenance coverage in your market.
- Available evidence about future buyer appeal for unusually personal choices.
Rolls-Royce’s public pages do not provide a complete model-by-model option price list. A dated local quote is the useful basis for comparing actual configurations.
