Gold Strategy’s 2025 MD&A also describes limited access to public financing for junior exploration companies and says trading volume could be restrained if market conditions persisted. A credible same-session comparison requires the date, GST’s exchange price and trading volume for that session, and a clearly identified gold benchmark—for example, spot gold or a specified futures contract. It also requires checking issuer disclosures around the session for company-specific news. The available sources do not provide a verified gold figure for the unidentified session or establish a causal link between gold and GST.

Until those details are matched, the careful reading is that gold is possible market context, not a demonstrated explanation for a GST move. A contemporaneous rise in gold and a change in GST would show timing, not causation.
