Polly announced PollyOS on October 6, 2026, combining its product, pricing and eligibility engine with Polly Hedge and a reintroduced Loan Trading Exchange. The enterprise platform is aimed at mortgage lenders seeking to connect pricing, pipeline hedging, loan sales and secondary accounting around a shared loan record. Its promised benefit—tracking margin from rate lock through settlement—is Polly’s product claim, not an independently verified performance result.
What PollyOS is and what launched
Polly describes PollyOS as an AI-native platform for mortgage capital markets. Its official announcement says the platform brings together product, pricing and eligibility (PPE), pipeline hedging, loan trading and secondary accounting. HousingWire reported the October 6, 2026 launch as the combination of Polly’s pricing and eligibility engine, Polly Hedge and the reintroduced Loan Trading Exchange. HousingWire’s launch report provides the dated account; Polly’s announcement describes the company’s intended platform scope.
This is business software for banks, credit unions and independent mortgage lenders—not a consumer mortgage-shopping service. Polly’s central proposition is that connected workflows can give a lender a common view of each loan as it moves from pricing and lock through hedging and sale.
How the shared loan record is meant to change the workflow
In a fragmented setup, pricing, lock activity, hedges, trades and accounting may live in separate systems or processes. Polly says PollyOS brings those activities onto a common data foundation so that changes to a loan can be connected to the lender’s pipeline and eventual financial result. HousingWire reported Polly’s claim that cancellations, funding and status changes are reflected in the pipeline in real time.

- Instant Principal, Interest, Interest Only and Total Payments
- Future Values
- Date math function
The practical objective is to follow a loan’s margin across its lifecycle rather than rely only on aggregate pipeline views. Polly founder and CEO Adam Carmel described the goal in the launch coverage this way: “PollyOS solves this critical legacy problem with precision, loan by loan, as it happens.” That is Carmel’s characterization of the product, not an independent finding about its results.
What loan-level P&L attribution is intended to show
Polly’s product page describes loan-level profit-and-loss attribution: connecting the pricing and subsequent activity for a loan to its eventual result. The idea is to help a lender investigate questions such as “What did you actually make on that loan?”—a framing Polly uses on its own product page—rather than treating overall gain or loss as an unexplained total.

Attribution is useful only if a lender can see what the system counts and how it separates sources of change. In evaluating a demonstration, ask how the platform distinguishes market movement and hedge results from lender-controlled events such as renegotiations, extensions and fallout; how it treats cancellations and funding; and whether the figures reconcile with the lender’s accounting and trade records. The launch materials describe the intended capability but do not publish an independent validation of its accuracy or financial impact.
Analytics and automation Polly describes
Polly’s product page lists an integrated hedge view with pull-through, best execution and duration weighting, machine-learning pull-through estimates, intraday lock-volume signals and agentic recommendations. The page presents these as features of the platform; it does not establish independently measured improvements in pricing, hedge performance or lender profitability.

Polly also identifies premium offerings called Loan Officer PRO and Capital Markets PRO, an API Suite for LOS, POS, CRM and other secondary systems, and a sandbox it describes as a production-replica environment. A lender evaluating these components should confirm which functions are included in its proposed configuration, which integrations are available for its particular systems, and what the sandbox reproduces.
Self-managed desk or execution support
Polly says a lender can self-manage pricing, hedging and execution or work with F9 Advisors for execution support. The available product description does not specify the support’s exact scope, commercial terms or availability for each lender. Those details should be confirmed directly before comparing the operating models.

What to validate in a parallel run
Polly’s stated implementation sequence is discovery, configuration, parallel run and go-live. The company says the parallel run is intended to validate the setup alongside legacy systems before cutover. For a lender, this is the opportunity to test whether the platform’s connected data and calculations work against its own established records.
- Reconcile loan records: Compare locks, loan changes, cancellations, funding, trades and settlements in PollyOS with the corresponding legacy records. Confirm how discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
- Test attribution: Select representative loans and verify the treatment of market movement, hedge results, renegotiations, extensions and fallout. Ask finance and capital-markets staff to confirm that reported P&L ties to their accounting process.
- Check refresh timing: Establish how quickly lock activity, status changes and pipeline positions appear, including which updates are real time and which depend on another system or process.
- Verify integrations: Request a current list of supported LOS, POS, CRM, investor and execution integrations, then test the specific interfaces the lender depends on.
- Agree on cutover criteria: Define the parallel-run duration, validation method, ownership of unresolved issues and support plan before replacing legacy workflows.
How lenders can assess the platform’s fit
The launch materials do not provide a like-for-like comparison with competing systems. Lenders can use a consistent set of questions when assessing PollyOS alongside alternatives:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsBest Value
- Do pricing and eligibility, hedging, trading and secondary accounting share a common loan record, or are they connected across separate systems?
- Can the platform show how market and hedge changes differ from lender-controlled changes such as extensions, renegotiations and fallout?
- How often do locks, statuses and pipeline positions refresh?
- Are the lender’s specific LOS, POS, CRM, investor and execution integrations supported?
- What configuration, parallel-run duration, validation process and cutover support are included?
- Will the lender manage execution itself or use outside support, and what exactly does that support cover?
Polly’s homepage reports that more than $250 billion had been locked on its next-generation pricing engine as of September 30, 2026, and that 28% of the nation’s top 50 lenders had made the switch. These are company-reported figures; the homepage does not provide a methodology for the lender figure, and neither number is an independent audit or evidence of results for a particular institution. They indicate how Polly presents its scale, not a substitute for references and operational validation.
In the launch report, Polly senior vice president of product Jon Foy said, “We know legacy tools have historically handicapped lenders’ ability to identify margin erosion and make informed business decisions, and that is a problem Polly’s R&D team was determined to solve.” Polly senior vice president of strategy Brandon Story said, “PollyOS makes that knowledge structural.” Gary Malis, a capital-markets executive and adviser to Polly, said, “What I find compelling about PollyOS is the granularity they have brought to that attribution problem.” These are statements made in connection with the launch, not independent assessments.
