Three-year annualised returns

| 2 | ITI Flexi Cap Fund | 18.15% |

What the rankings do—and do not—show
Bank of India Flexi Cap Fund leads all three windows in this particular comparison, but the other names and their order vary with the measurement period. A YTD result captures a short portion of one calendar year; three- and five-year annualised results describe different, longer spans. A top rank in one window does not establish consistent leadership or indicate which scheme is right for a particular investor.

Check plan, option and date before comparing funds
Mutual-fund performance can differ by plan and option. Mint’s comparison is specifically for direct-growth schemes. Bank of India Mutual Fund’s official scheme page presents performance by plan and option, so its regular-growth figures are not a like-for-like replacement for the direct-growth figures above. Before relying on a return figure, verify that the comparison uses the same:
- Plan: direct or regular.
- Option: growth or a distribution option.
- NAV date: the date through which performance is measured.
- Period and method: YTD versus annualised multi-year return, and the calculation basis.
- Track record: whether the scheme has operated for the whole period being compared.

What a flexi-cap fund invests in
Flexi-cap funds can invest across large-, mid- and small-cap stocks. Bank of India Mutual Fund describes its Flexi Cap Fund as investing predominantly in equity and equity-related securities, with a long-term capital appreciation objective. That mandate describes the scheme’s investment approach; it does not guarantee a particular return. Bank of India Mutual Fund scheme page
How to use a performance table in an investment decision
- Use rankings to identify schemes for further review, not as a stand-alone buy signal.
- Compare like-for-like plan, option, dates and return periods before drawing conclusions.
- Consider whether the fund’s investment approach and risk fit your goals and time horizon; the tables alone do not answer that question.
- Read the scheme’s current documents and disclosures before investing.
