These figures are reported by Cointelegraph, which attributes them to SoSoValue. The report is dated Oct. 5, 2026, but its accessible text does not specify the weekly window’s exact start and end dates.
How to interpret the reversal
The figures describe net flows over the reported weekly period: Bitcoin ETFs had more inflows than outflows, while Ether ETFs had more outflows than inflows. Ether’s reported result reversed the prior week’s $690 million net inflow. A net-flow figure is not the same measure as an ETF’s cumulative flows, assets under management, or trading value.
The contrast alone does not establish why investors bought or sold, whether they were shifting money between Bitcoin and Ether products, or what either cryptocurrency’s price will do next. ETF flows are one data point, not a standalone explanation or forecast.

What the underlying dashboard measures
SoSoValue’s U.S. crypto spot ETF dashboard separates daily, weekly, and monthly views and distinguishes net inflow from cumulative net inflow, net assets, and trading value. Those measures answer different questions, so a one-week net-flow total should not be treated as a cumulative or year-to-date figure.
The accessible dashboard view does not independently display the historical weekly values cited in Cointelegraph’s report. Accordingly, the $241.1 million, $138 million, and prior-week figures here are attributed to Cointelegraph’s reporting of SoSoValue data, rather than presented as an independent recalculation.
