Trump Bibles, Guitars and Crypto: What His Disclosures Show About the “Grifts”

Trump’s financial disclosures and reporting identify royalties from the Bible and guitars and large crypto-related income categories. Here is what the figures show, who is named in the arrangements, and what remains unproven.

Trump-associated Bible and guitar promotions, along with crypto ventures, are linked to income reported in financial disclosures. Those records document commercial relationships and reported amounts; they do not establish that the ventures were frauds. The word “grifts” is a critical framing, not a legal finding.

What is the Trump Bible, and how was it sold?

The product and its promotion

In March 2024, Donald Trump urged supporters to buy the God Bless the U.S.A. Bible for $59.99, according to The Associated Press. The edition was inspired by Lee Greenwood’s patriotic song and included U.S. founding documents.

Who was involved, and what did Trump report?

The product site said Trump’s image was licensed from CIC Ventures LLC and that the site was not owned, managed or controlled by Trump, Axios reported. That describes a licensing relationship, not Trump personally operating the storefront. Axios’s account of the product site reported those terms.

Trump’s 2025 annual financial disclosure, published in June 2025, lists $1,306,035 in royalty income for “The Greenwood Bible.” The filing describes a publishing agreement with LMA Productions, Inc. This is a reported royalty amount—not a sales total, per-copy figure or measure of net profit. See the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) 2025 annual report.

What were the Trump guitars, and how much did he report?

Historical prices and models

On November 20, 2024, AP reported that Trump promoted “45” guitars with American flag, eagle and campaign-style design elements. Its report listed these prices:

Model Price AP reported on November 20, 2024
Acoustic $1,250
Electric $1,500
Signature edition $10,000

These are prices reported at that time, not confirmation of current availability or a current catalog. AP said the relationship between Trump and proceeds was unclear when it published its report. Read AP’s November 20, 2024 account.

The later disclosure

Trump’s 2025 OGE annual report lists $1,055,100 in royalty income for the “45” Guitar and describes an endorsement and promotional agreement with LMA Productions, Inc. The filing documents a commercial link beyond the promotion AP described in 2024. It does not establish how many guitars sold, what they cost to produce, or the venture’s net profit. The OGE report is the source for the disclosed royalty and agreement.

How much has Trump made from crypto?

News coverage of financial disclosures reports crypto-related amounts from different reporting periods and categories. They should not be combined into a single total without accounting for what each figure represents.

Period and disclosure coverage Reported amount What the report says it concerns
2024 activity, covered in reporting on the 2025 disclosure $57,355,532 World Liberty Financial token-sale income, as reported by CBS News.
2025 activity, covered in AP’s 2026 report on a later filing More than $500 million Associated with World Liberty Financial crypto products, according to AP’s account of the filing.
2025 activity, covered in AP’s 2026 report on a later filing More than $600 million From sales of $TRUMP meme coins, according to AP’s account of the filing.

The $57,355,532 figure is reported as 2024 token-sale income; the later AP figures refer to categories of 2025 crypto-related activity. These descriptions do not by themselves establish net profit, and the amounts are not interchangeable or safely additive. AP also reported that investors suffered losses and that the World Liberty token price had fallen substantially since trading began; that report does not mean every holder lost money or that those investor losses equal Trump’s receipts.

In AP’s 2026 report, Trump said, “I’m profiting because I have a lot of money and a lot of cash.” That is Trump’s statement, as quoted by AP, not a finding by a regulator or court.

Who gets the money—and what do the disclosures leave unclear?

The available records identify some commercial relationships and reported income to Trump, but they do not provide a complete accounting of who receives each dollar paid by a buyer or token purchaser.

  • Bible: The sales site described licensing Trump’s image from CIC Ventures LLC and said it was not owned, managed or controlled by him. The 2025 OGE report lists royalty income under a publishing agreement with LMA Productions, Inc.
  • Guitar: The 2025 OGE report lists royalty income and an endorsement and promotional agreement with LMA Productions, Inc. It does not disclose a full breakdown of retail receipts, costs or payments to other parties.
  • Crypto: The cited reporting identifies disclosed income categories associated with World Liberty Financial and $TRUMP coin sales, but does not establish the complete distribution of proceeds among all participants.

So, the evidence supports saying that Trump reported royalties from the Bible and guitar arrangements and that disclosures showed substantial crypto-related income categories. It does not establish unit sales, gross retail sales, net profit or a complete payment flow for any of these ventures.

Are these ventures legally established as frauds?

No court judgment establishing that the Bible, guitar or crypto ventures were frauds is identified in the cited accounts and filings. “Grift” can convey a political or moral criticism, but it should not be presented as a legal conclusion on this evidence. Likewise, the reported income figures do not, on their own, prove fraud.

Are the Bible and guitar figures the latest available?

No. The Bible and guitar amounts above come from Trump’s 2025 annual OGE report, published in June 2025, and describe the income recorded in that filing. OGE announced on June 30, 2026, that the President’s and Vice President’s certified 2026 annual disclosure reports were available. OGE’s 2026 availability notice does not change the reporting period of the 2025 amounts cited here.
