How much did Rolex raise prices in January 2026?
The size of the increase depended on the watch’s material, reference and market. Two useful snapshots illustrate the variation, but they measure different things: Fratello reported prices for selected European models, while WatchPro calculated averages for a tracked UK basket.

The UK figures are WatchPro’s basket analysis, not an official Rolex global average. The European model examples likewise should not be read as a rate applying to all Rolex watches. Fratello’s January 2026 examples and WatchPro’s UK tracker offer different views of the same broad price adjustment.
Rolex prices changed again in the US in June
January was not the only reported 2026 adjustment. On June 5, WatchPro USA said the gold models in its tracked US basket had risen by an average of 5% that month, while its tracked steel models had not increased. Its example was the white-gold Daytona 126509: $56,400 in January and $59,100 in June, a reported 4.8% increase before sales tax. These are WatchPro’s tracked prices, not an official Rolex average. What current US catalogue prices show—and what they do not
Rolex’s US catalogue displayed a Datejust 41 in Oystersteel for $8,950 and an Oystersteel-and-white-gold version for $11,650 when accessed on October 4, 2026. The prices show a current difference between those configurations; they do not establish how much either model’s price changed historically. Catalogue prices are regional and can change, so check the live Rolex US Datejust catalogue or an authorized retailer for a specific reference.

Trade coverage has identified higher gold prices, exchange rates and US tariffs as relevant pressures on watch pricing. Those factors are context, not a confirmed explanation from Rolex: the reporting cited here does not establish that Rolex issued a formal account of the increases. It is therefore safer to treat material and market as observable differences than to attribute the changes to one stated company policy.

How to interpret the increase when budgeting
- Start with the exact reference and material. The January European examples differed by three percentage points between gold and steel, so a headline rate cannot substitute for a model-specific price.
- Keep markets and currencies separate. The January UK basket, European euro examples and US June tracker are not directly comparable; taxes and the basis of the quoted price can differ.
- Separate retail from resale. These reports concern retail pricing or publisher tracking of retail prices. They do not establish changes in secondary-market values.
- Verify the live local price. Rolex’s catalogue is useful for current displayed prices, not a historical price log. For a purchase decision, confirm the precise reference and local retail price with Rolex or an authorized retailer.
