AMD appointed Anjana Srinivasan senior director of EMEA commercial channel sales, according to a report published on 15 May 2025. The role puts her in charge of advancing AMD’s commercial channel strategy across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Later 2026 coverage still identifies her as AMD’s EMEA channel lead.
What AMD announced
ITPro / ChannelPro reported on 15 May 2025 that Srinivasan had joined AMD as senior director of EMEA commercial channel sales. The report said AMD viewed her experience and leadership as assets for advancing its commercial channel strategy in the region. The announcement concerned a leadership appointment; it did not report a product launch or quantify any business results.
The report quoted AMD senior vice president of EMEA regional sales Stephanie Dismore describing Srinivasan’s leadership and technology-sector expertise as a strong fit for the role. Srinivasan said she looked forward to working with AMD teams and partners across EMEA.
Srinivasan’s reported background
Before joining AMD, Srinivasan worked at Microsoft. The appointment report said her most recent role there was UK Device Partner Sales field lead and that she had previously served as Windows Consumer category lead for the UK and Ireland. It also reported that she held leadership roles during 12 years at Lenovo and had more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry.

How AMD’s partner program fits the story
AMD’s Partner Network is relevant context for the commercial channel remit, but its later program figures should not be read as results of Srinivasan’s appointment. In an 8 October 2025 blog, AMD described the Partner Network as a consolidated global program for sales training, go-to-market resources and incentives, supporting PC builders, server integrators and advisers to mid-market businesses.
- AMD said its channel investment increased 40% year over year in 2025.
- AMD said it engaged 520 partners across its client, cloud and server portfolios.
These are figures AMD reported about its program; the available reporting does not establish a causal link to Srinivasan’s appointment.

What later coverage says about her role
Her EMEA channel leadership continued to appear in public material in 2026. A May/June 2026 PCR interview identifies Srinivasan as AMD’s EMEA channel lead and discusses her experience across sales, marketing and operations, including work with OEMs, distributors and resellers. She described partner priorities in terms of margin, growth and consistency.
In a LinkedIn post about AMD’s Advancing AI 2026 event in San Francisco, Srinivasan said the company hosted its EMEA partner cohort. She framed the opportunity as spanning data-centre infrastructure through to AI PCs and discussed AMD’s Instinct, EPYC and ROCm offerings. Those comments are her own description of the channel opportunity, not independent evidence of product performance or commercial outcomes.

What the appointment does—and does not—establish
The appointment placed an experienced channel executive over AMD’s commercial partner strategy in EMEA. The public material cited here does not measure the appointment’s effect on revenue, market share, partner growth or product adoption. The appointment details and quotations rely on contemporaneous ITPro / ChannelPro reporting that said AMD announced the move; later evidence of her role comes from a trade interview and her own public post.
