That figure described the announced sale scope, not the amount ultimately raised. Gordon Brothers’ listing is now closed, and later reporting confirms sales of physical inventory and equipment; current availability of any remaining assets is not established.
What was included in the Zulily sale?
The offer covered two distinct groups: consumer merchandise and warehouse assets. Gordon Brothers announced the sale on January 30, 2024, on behalf of Zulily ABC LLC.

Gordon Brothers described two fulfillment centers, each measuring 775,000 square feet. Retail Dive identified the facilities as being in Ohio and Nevada.
How was the sale structured?
Gordon Brothers said the assets were offered by private treaty. In this context, the announcement invited offers rather than describing a conventional public auction. It said Zulily Group LLC, Zulily’s parent, had decided to wind down operations and entered an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors in December 2023 to complete an orderly wind-down and maximize creditor recovery.

At announcement time, Gordon Brothers’ Senior Managing Director of Commercial & Industrial, Ulos Anderson, called it “a great opportunity to acquire a wide selection of well-known nationally branded fashion and home products inventory.” The statement described the opportunity then; it should not be read as a current invitation to bid.
Is the Zulily inventory sale still open?
No current offer is confirmed. Gordon Brothers’ event listing is marked closed. A later Douglas Wilson Companies project page says Zulily’s physical inventory and mechanical/equipment assets had been sold and reports more than $10 million in value from completed sales. The page does not state a year for that result, establish a final total for every Zulily asset, or confirm whether any residual assets are available today.

Anyone considering a related asset-disposition opportunity would need current availability and terms directly from the relevant seller or disposition firm; the historic listing is not evidence that Zulily assets remain for sale.

Gordon Brothers’ “more than $85 million” figure described the value of inventory and assets being offered in the 2024 announcement. It is not a report of final proceeds, a verified appraisal of what buyers paid, or a total for all assets ultimately liquidated. Douglas Wilson Companies’ later figure concerns completed sales of physical inventory and mechanical/equipment assets, but the page does not say it represents every asset or a final liquidation total.
