Uber’s official U.S. promotions page currently displays code RIDEUBER2026FT for 30% off one first trip, up to $8 off. The listing is undated, so it does not establish that this offer was available in April 2026. It also does not guarantee eligibility: check the promotion in your Uber account before requesting a ride.
What the displayed Uber promo code offers
As of October 4, 2026, Uber’s official U.S. rider promotions page displays the following offer. The terms below describe that listing, not a guaranteed discount for every rider.

Uber says promotion terms can change and reserves the right to change or cancel promotions. The app’s Wallet and the trip’s displayed price are the practical checks for whether the offer is available to your account and applies to your ride.
How to add an Uber promo code
- Open the Uber app and go to Account > Wallet.
- Choose Add promo code (the label may vary by app version), enter RIDEUBER2026FT, and submit it.
- Check Wallet for the offer and its terms. Confirm it is available for your account and note its expiration.
- Before requesting a ride, review the trip’s price and available promotion. Do not assume the code will be applied unless the app shows it.
Enter and activate the code before requesting the ride. Uber says a code entered after a ride request will not be redeemed. A promotion applies to one trip only; any unused value disappears rather than carrying over to another trip.

Why an Uber promo code may not work
Uber promotions can have account- and trip-specific eligibility. If the code is rejected or no discount appears, check these common restrictions before requesting the ride:
- Market or trip mismatch: This displayed offer is for a trip in the United States and a personal profile. Eligibility can also depend on city and product.
- Account or payment restrictions: Uber Help lists exclusions for Uber for Business, trips on Family or Business accounts, and trips with Apple Pay.
- Timing: The offer expires 14 days after activation, and it must be added before requesting the ride.
- Another offer is already applied: Only one code can be used per ride, and this offer cannot be combined with other promotions or savings.
- Code or account eligibility: Check the exact code and the offer shown in Wallet. A code displayed publicly is not proof that it is available to every rider.
If the promotion appears in Wallet but not in the ride estimate, review the terms and the selected profile, product, and payment method before booking. If you already requested the ride, Uber says adding the code afterward will not redeem it.

Does the Uber promo code apply to tips?
No. The displayed offer excludes tips, as well as surcharges, government fees, and tolls. The 30% discount is capped at $8, so it is not 30% off every amount shown on a final receipt.
How to check the discount on your trip
Before confirming, inspect the trip estimate in the app for the promotion or reduced price. After the ride, review the receipt to see how the charges were calculated. If the discount is missing, compare the receipt with the offer terms in Wallet and contact Uber through the app if you believe the eligible offer was not applied. Keep in mind that terms may change.

What to know about the April 2026 date
The official U.S. offer page currently displays RIDEUBER2026FT, but it does not show a publication date in the listing. That means the current page cannot verify that this code or its 30%-off terms were available in April 2026. Treat the code as a currently displayed offer only, and confirm what your account shows when you plan to ride.
Uber’s UK promotional terms also describe trip-level offers that can depend on a rider’s history and a particular trip. Those are UK terms, however, and should not be used to determine eligibility under this U.S. promotion.
