Memcyco announced a $37 million Series A on January 27, 2026, saying the financing brings its total funding to $47 million. The company said it will use the proceeds to expand its enterprise platform, which it describes as technology for detecting digital impersonation and phishing and helping organizations disrupt account-takeover fraud.
Who invested in Memcyco’s Series A?
According to Memcyco’s January 27, 2026 announcement, NAventures—the corporate venture arm of National Bank of Canada—led the round. New investors E. León Jimenes and Pags Group joined, as did existing investors Capri Ventures and Venture Guides.
Memcyco said the capital will support global expansion of its platform. The announcement did not specify a timetable, target markets, or a breakdown of spending.
What does Memcyco’s technology do?
Memcyco sells enterprise software, not a consumer device. The company says its platform is intended to help organizations identify digital impersonation and phishing activity and respond while an attack is under way. Its stated goal is to spot exposed users and attacker behavior early enough for an organization to intervene.

The distinction between impersonation and account takeover matters: a fake website or phishing attempt can expose a person to risk, while account takeover is a possible downstream outcome in which an attacker gains access to an account. Memcyco says its tools address both stages, but the product descriptions do not independently establish how effective the tools are in practice.
Capabilities listed by Memcyco
The company’s product page describes capabilities that include:
- Detecting websites that impersonate a legitimate business.
- Protecting against account-takeover activity, with device and session risk signals.
- Providing threat intelligence and workflows for requesting takedowns.
- Sharing events, alerts, and session-risk information with other systems through APIs.
Those are vendor-described features, not a comparison with competing products or a guarantee that a takedown or account intervention will succeed.
What performance figures did the company report?
In its funding announcement, Memcyco reported a threefold year-over-year increase in annual recurring revenue, a tripling of its customer base, more than 3.5 million prevented account-takeover attempts, and more than half a billion device identities mapped. These figures are company-reported; the announcement does not provide independent validation or enough detail to assess how the measures were calculated.

Our technology infiltrates the attack timeline, identifying the victim and the bad actor instantly to prevent damage before it starts.” This is the executive’s description of the product’s intended role, not independent evidence of its efficacy.

The financing announcement and product page do not establish pricing, detailed deployment requirements, independent customer validation, or comparative performance against other fraud-prevention tools. They also do not provide a basis for judging whether the platform is suitable for a particular organization.
For a business evaluating this category, useful questions include when a system detects an attack—before login, at login, or after suspected fraud—what surfaces it monitors, whether it can identify exposed users, and how it integrates with existing risk and response tools. Buyers should also ask for evidence supporting performance and deployment claims. The available materials do not answer those questions for Memcyco.
