Who acquired Peritek, and when?
The buyer was Curtiss-Wright Corporation, a supplier serving military and aerospace markets. Its 2003 annual report records the acquisition of Peritek’s assets and certain liabilities on August 1, 2003. The report gives a purchase price of $3.2 million in cash plus assumed liabilities. Curtiss-Wright’s 2003 annual report
The transaction was an asset acquisition, not a statement that Curtiss-Wright bought all of Peritek as a legal entity. The annual report says $1.5 million was paid at closing; the balance was subject to a promissory note and a holdback for potential indemnification claims. It also valued developed technology included in the acquired net assets at approximately $2.6 million. These are reported transaction details, not a current valuation or product price.
What did Peritek make?
Peritek, based in Oakland, California, supplied video and graphic display boards for embedded-computing systems. Curtiss-Wright’s annual report identified applications in aviation, defense, medical imaging, bomb detection, and industrial automation. Curtiss-Wright’s 2003 annual report

Consolidation into Embedded Computing
By November 2004, Curtiss-Wright Controls said it was consolidating the Peritek name and several other acquired names into its Embedded Computing group. The report said the names would cease as independent activities while their capabilities continued through product groups. Tom Quinly, then president of Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing Group, described the approach this way: “There will never be a total amalgamation. We like the model of having these technology-focused teams.” The comments explain the company’s stated integration approach in 2004, not its current organizational structure. 2004 trade report on Curtiss-Wright Controls

The cited transaction and trade reports establish Peritek’s historical products and the later consolidation of its name, but they do not establish Peritek’s current corporate status, a successor-product lineage, current stock, or present support and compatibility. A buyer or maintainer should verify any specific board’s manufacturer, model, revision, operating requirements, and support status with current documentation before relying on it.
