They are not a ranked list of the best-performing stores: Shopify’s roundup does not publish a comparative scoring method. Use the examples to identify ideas that fit your own products and customers, rather than copying another brand’s identity.
How to learn from Shopify store examples
Shopify’s 2026 roundup, published December 2, 2025, presents more than 50 stores as inspiration. Its first 16 examples span apparel, home goods, publishing, beauty and food-related products. The useful comparison is not simply which site looks most appealing; it is how each store connects its products, story and shopping experience.
- Category and offer: What does the store sell, and can a visitor understand the offer quickly?
- Brand expression: How do imagery, color, maker stories or cause messaging establish a recognizable identity?
- Product discovery: Can shoppers find the relevant product, size or variant without unnecessary effort?
- Product education and trust: Are materials, use cases, sourcing or other decision-making details explained?
- Purchase path: Is the route from browsing to checkout clear?
- Business-model fit: Does the storefront make sense for the way the business sells, such as bundles, a focused catalog or considered purchases?
Shopify’s own guidance emphasizes consistent branding, functional design, fast checkout and helpful product content. It also names high-quality photography, straightforward text and an easy path to purchase as qualities of a strong store. These are useful design principles, not guarantees of sales.

Pick examples that solve a problem similar to yours, rather than treating all 16 as templates. A secondhand seller might study Goodfair’s bundle approach; a maker with a narrow specialty might look at Artisaire; a brand with an origin story might examine how Hiut Denim Co. ties its product to place. Then evaluate your own store against the questions that matter to your offer:
