Amazon provides the online marketplace and transaction tools; the Ford dealer remains the seller, sets the vehicle’s price, arranges pickup, and handles service after the sale. The program launched in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Dallas in November 2025, but current availability depends on your market, participating dealers, and inventory.
What is the Ford and Amazon Autos collaboration?
It lets shoppers browse, compare, finance, and begin paperwork for Ford Blue Advantage certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicles on Amazon Autos. Amazon’s November 2025 announcement described dealer inventory within a 75-mile radius of a shopper. The listing and purchase are still tied to a participating Ford dealer, rather than Amazon selling the car directly. Amazon’s announcement and Ford’s announcement explain the arrangement.
What’s the difference between a certified pre-owned Ford and a regular used car?
Ford Blue Advantage vehicles must meet program eligibility rules and pass a tier-specific inspection. Ford’s published inspection counts and warranty terms differ by tier; verify the actual vehicle’s documents for coverage, exclusions, and start date.
| Tier | Ford’s current eligibility description | Inspection and warranty described in the 2025 launch materials |
|---|---|---|
| Gold Certified | Ford models up to six years old and under 80,000 miles | 172-point inspection; 12-month/12,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty, whichever comes first |
| EV Certified | Fully electric Ford vehicles up to six years old and under 80,000 miles | 127-point inspection; comprehensive warranty equivalent to Gold |
| Blue Certified | Any make or model up to 10 years old and under 150,000 miles | 139-point inspection; 90-day/4,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty, whichever comes first |
These are Ford-published program descriptions, not an independent assessment of condition or reliability. Ford also advertises a free CARFAX Vehicle History Report and roadside assistance for Blue Advantage vehicles; confirm which benefits and terms apply to the specific listing. There is a separate platform constraint to keep in mind: Amazon’s current dealer materials say used and CPO listings must be no older than 10 years and have no more than 100,000 miles. That platform listing criterion is distinct from Ford Blue Certified eligibility, which allows vehicles up to 150,000 miles under Ford’s current program description. How do I find a certified pre-owned Ford on Amazon?
- Open Amazon Autos and search your area for Ford Blue Advantage or CPO Ford inventory.
- Review each listing’s tier, model year, mileage, itemized price, vehicle history, specifications, service history, and condition information. Amazon says these details may be provided in the listing; ask the dealer about anything missing or unclear.
- Compare the vehicle’s stated warranty and certification documents with the tier description. Check the dealer’s location and confirm pickup arrangements.
- Review the total price, including taxes and fees, and evaluate any financing, trade-in, or optional protection products separately.
- Before placing a deposit or signing, read the return terms and applicable purchase documents for that exact vehicle and your state.
Amazon’s current consumer guide reports more than 1,000 participating dealers in more than 130 U.S. cities. Those are platform-wide counts, not counts of Ford CPO sellers or assurance that a particular Ford is available nearby. Amazon Autos consumer guide.
Can I complete the entire purchase online?
You can do much of the shopping and transaction online: compare listings and itemized prices, select a payment approach, apply for financing where offered, and begin paperwork. The vehicle is picked up from the participating dealership. Amazon says some signatures may still be required in person; its dealer FAQ says pickup is scheduled at the dealership and typically occurs within one to three days after deposit. Confirm timing and remaining steps directly with the dealer, since lender options and process depend on market, dealer integrations, and buyer qualifications. Amazon Autos dealer FAQ.
Who manages my relationship after I buy a car through Amazon Autos?
The Ford dealer remains the point of contact for the vehicle, pickup, and ongoing service. Amazon is the digital shopping platform, not the service provider or vehicle seller. Ask the dealer how to schedule maintenance or warranty service and which dealership locations can handle it.

Amazon’s buying flow allows shoppers to choose financing where available and apply online. Financing options are not guaranteed for every listing or shopper: availability can depend on the local market, dealer integrations, and lender approval. Compare the APR, loan term, amount financed, fees, and total payments against any outside financing offer. Do not compare monthly payments alone.
Where is the Ford Amazon Autos program available?
Ford and Amazon named Los Angeles, Seattle, and Dallas as launch markets in November 2025. Amazon Autos’ current materials describe expansion beyond the initial rollout, while warning that inventory and availability vary by market. The launch cities are not a guarantee of a current listing, and the broader platform’s city count does not establish Ford-specific coverage. Search your location and confirm that the seller is a participating Ford dealer.

The principal convenience is an online path to shop dealer-sold Ford CPO inventory, review vehicle details and itemized pricing, and begin financing and paperwork before dealer pickup. Ford’s Blue Advantage program adds tier-based inspection and warranty terms, with Ford also advertising a CARFAX report and roadside assistance. These are company-described features, not proof that a particular vehicle is trouble-free or that a buyer will save money. Judge the actual car and transaction using its records and documents.
One important term to verify is the return window. Ford’s launch announcement and current Blue Advantage page describe a 14-day/1,000-mile money-back guarantee, whichever comes first, for eligible purchases. Amazon’s current general guide instead describes a minimum 3-day/300-mile return policy for used and CPO purchases and notes that terms may vary in certain states. The published descriptions do not establish how the policies interact or that every state and listing has identical terms. Read the exact listing, dealer documents, and applicable state terms before relying on any return period. Ford Blue Advantage terms and Amazon Autos guide.
