For the 2024 Aetna Medicare OTC Health Solutions (OTCHS) ordering process, go to CVS.com/otchs/myorder. Register with your member ID if this is your first online order, or sign in to check your benefit balance and order eligible catalog items. Allowances, eligible products, and ordering details vary by plan; use your plan materials for your own benefit rules.
What to have ready before you register
- Your Aetna health plan member ID, printed on your health plan ID card.
- Your date of birth and ZIP code.
- A current email address and a password you will use for the account.
The 2024 CVS OTC Health Solutions catalog says each registering member needs a separate email address; one email address can register only one OTC account. If you cannot locate your member ID, the sign-in page includes a “Get help locating your member ID” option. See the 2024 OTC Medicare Item Catalog.
How to create an account or sign in
- Open CVS.com/otchs/myorder, the online ordering route named in the CVS OTC Health Solutions 2024 Aetna FAQ.
- For your first online order, choose Create Account and enter your member ID, date of birth, ZIP code, current email address, and a password.
- If you already registered, sign in with your member ID or email address and password. If you have forgotten the password, select Forgot Password? on the sign-in page.
The 2024 FAQ describes online ordering as available 24/7. This is the 2024 program information, not a guarantee that current-year access details are unchanged.
How to place an online OTC order
- After signing in, review the benefit amount and balance shown for your plan.
- Choose the benefit and browse the eligible products available in your plan’s catalog or list.
- Add the items you want to your basket and select Checkout.
- Confirm the shipping address and submit the order. The 2024 catalog says the order summary displays the order number, shipping address, processing date, and delivery timeframe.
The 2024 Aetna FAQ says an online order submitted by 11:59 PM ET can be placed for that day. The 2024 catalog describes delivery within 14 days. These are statements from the 2024 materials, not current guarantees; check the portal and your plan information for current order and delivery details.

How much is the Aetna OTC benefit?
There is no single allowance for all Aetna Medicare members. The 2024 Aetna FAQ says the amount depends on the member’s plan and directs members to their plan documents or OTCHS for their specific allowance. The portal displays the balance after sign-in, and you can also call the support number applicable to your plan.
- For a quarterly benefit, the 2024 FAQ says unused amounts do not roll over to the next quarter.
- It says members may place multiple orders within a month for monthly benefits or within a quarter for quarterly benefits, up to their allowance.
Only products listed as eligible for your plan qualify through the OTCHS benefit. Do not assume an item purchased elsewhere, including from a general online retailer, can be reimbursed or charged to this benefit.

Other ways to order and which support details to use
The 2024 Aetna FAQ lists online ordering, CVS retail store shopping, and telephone ordering. Its 2024 phone number is 1-833-331-1573 (TTY: 711). Interactive voice response ordering is listed as available 24/7; a live agent is listed as available Monday through Friday, 9 AM–8 PM local time, except Hawaii. The FAQ also says members can call for balance information.
Store eligibility depends on the benefit arrangement and plan. The standard 2024 FAQ excludes CVS locations inside Target or Schnucks; a separate payment-card FAQ excludes CVS Pharmacy locations inside Target. Check your plan materials or call the number on your insurance card if store eligibility is unclear.
Some 2024 plans used a payment card
A separate 2024 Aetna Payment Card FAQ describes a Medicare payment card administered by PayFlex, use at CVS retail locations, the PayFlex Mobile app, and an Eligible Expense Scanner. Other 2024 Aetna OTCHS instructions describe a benefit tracked through the portal and say no OTC card or vouchers are issued. These documents describe different benefit setups; follow the instructions for the card or plan you actually have rather than assuming every member uses the same method.
Current support information is different from the 2024 walkthrough
The CVS/Aetna member page currently references 2025 plan information and lists 1-844-428-8147 (TTY: 711) for Aetna OTC benefit support, 8 AM–8 PM local time, seven days a week except federal holidays. It also describes current portal and app access. Because this is current-year information observed separately from the 2024 instructions, check the CVS Aetna member page and your plan materials for the number and process that apply now; do not treat the 2024 phone number or hours as current by default.
