Trump’s ‘God Bless the USA’ Bible: What’s Known About Its China Printing

AP traced close to 120,000 copies of Trump’s God Bless the USA Bible to three early-2024 shipments printed near Hangzhou, China—but that does not establish the origin of every later run.

Yes. The Associated Press reported that copies of the God Bless the USA Bible promoted by Donald Trump were printed near Hangzhou, China, and shipped to the United States in early 2024. AP tied that finding to three shipments it investigated; its report does not establish where every later edition or print run was made.

What AP found about the printing

In its October 9, 2024 report, the Associated Press used global trade and customs-data databases to trace close to 120,000 copies from Hangzhou to the United States in three shipments between early February and late March 2024. AP also spoke with Tammy Tang, a sales representative for New Ade Cultural Media, the Hangzhou printing company identified as the shipper. Tang told AP that all three shipments were the God Bless the USA Bible and that New Ade printed them on presses near its office.

The trade-data information AP reviewed labeled the first shipment “God Bless USA” and described the other two as “Bibles.” New Ade sent them to Freedom Park Design, which the databases identified as the U.S. importer. The largest shipment contained 70,000 copies and arrived at the Port of Los Angeles on March 28, 2024.

What the shipment value does—and does not—mean

Databases using customs data put the estimated combined value of the three shipments at $342,000, or less than $3 per Bible. That is an estimated shipment value, not a verified manufacturing invoice, the exact cost to make a copy, or the retail price paid by a buyer.

For comparison, AP reported a minimum selling price of $59.99 when the Bible launched in March 2024. The official store displayed the same $59.99 price when accessed on October 4, 2026; a live listing can change. The shipment estimate and selling price measure different things and should not be treated as a direct accounting of the seller’s costs or profit.

What is in the Bible

The edition uses the King James Version and includes the U.S. Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and Pledge of Allegiance, as well as a handwritten chorus of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.” AP reported that the song inspired the edition’s name.

At launch, the product website called it “the only Bible endorsed by President Trump!” and described it as large-print, easy to read and slim, according to AP’s March 26, 2024 report. The site also disclosed that it was not owned, managed or controlled by Trump or CIC Ventures LLC, and that it used Trump’s name, likeness and image under a paid license from CIC Ventures LLC. AP said the license’s financial details were not disclosed in response to its questions.
