Disney’s U.S. Duo page currently lists an introductory six-month price followed by a higher monthly rate, so the headline offer is not the long-term cost. Check your account and the official plan page before switching: Disney’s Help Center indicates another price change for billing cycles on or after October 21, 2026, but its current price table does not establish the new rates.
Compare the current bundle prices with what you pay now
Disney’s official Duo bundle page, accessed October 4, 2026, lists these U.S. monthly prices:
| Plan | Introductory price | Price after the offer | Ads |
|---|---|---|---|
| Disney+ and Hulu Bundle | $11.99/month for the first 6 months | $12.99/month | Ads on both services |
| Disney+ and Hulu Bundle Premium | $19.99/month for the first 6 months | $21.99/month | No ads on Disney+ and Hulu movies and series; ads may still appear in select live and linear content |
Disney describes the Duo as discounted compared with paying each service’s regular monthly price separately. To see whether it saves your household money, compare the bundle’s renewal price with the plans you would otherwise keep—not just the introductory rate. The difference between the two listed bundles is $9 per month during the offer and after it ends; whether avoiding ads is worth that difference is a viewing preference, not an automatic saving.
Rates and eligibility can change. Disney’s plans and prices Help Center page indicates a change affecting billing cycles on or after October 21, 2026, but the price table did not render when reviewed. Do not assume the rates above apply to billing cycles after that date; check the current plan page and the amount shown in your account.

Choose the lowest-cost setup that fits your viewing
- Check your next bill. In your Disney+ or Hulu account, identify the plan name, billing date, and renewal amount. Use the price attached to your account rather than an offer shown to new subscribers or a remembered old rate.
- Decide whether you need both services. If you rarely watch one, cancel or downgrade that service instead of adding a bundle or another product. A bundle is only a saving if its included services replace subscriptions you would actually pay for.
- If you want both, compare ads with the renewal cost. The lower-priced Duo includes ads on Disney+ and Hulu. The Premium option removes ad breaks from movies and series, though Disney says select live and linear content may still contain ads.
- Mark when the introductory price ends. The current Duo offer lasts six months. Set a reminder before the first higher-price renewal so you can reassess whether the bundle still suits your budget.
- Check switching and cancellation terms before acting. Disney says cancellation during the six-month introductory term takes effect at the end of that term. After the initial term, cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly billing period. Existing subscribers should check account management for available plan changes; legacy plans and third-party billing arrangements may not have identical options.
Disney says Duo sign-up is available to U.S. residents and certain U.S. territories. If you are billed through another provider, confirm whether you can switch through Disney or must manage the subscription with that provider.
Compare alternatives only when they replace something you want
Disney+ Premium on its own
Disney lists Disney+ Premium at $21.49 per month or $214.99 per year. The company says the annual plan saves over 16% compared with paying 12 monthly installments. It does not include Hulu, so it is not a like-for-like alternative to Duo. Consider it only if you want Disney+ without Hulu and are comfortable paying annually.

Bundles with ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited
Disney’s official bundle information lists these monthly options:
| Bundle | Monthly price | Included services and ads |
|---|---|---|
| Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select | $21.99 | Ads on all three |
| Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select | $32.99 | Ads on ESPN; no ads on Disney+ and Hulu |
| Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited | $35.99 | Ads on all three |
| Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited | $44.99 | Ads on ESPN; no ads on Disney+ and Hulu |
These are relevant only if you want the included ESPN tier. Compare the combined price with the services you would otherwise buy; do not count ESPN as a saving if it would be an extra subscription you would not have purchased.

Bundle with HBO Max
Disney’s current FAQ lists Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max at $21.99 per month with ads or $34.99 per month without ads. Disney says these plans are discounted against the services’ separate monthly retail prices and currently do not have an annual subscription. Check the live page for current terms before enrolling, since plan details and displayed offers can change. This bundle makes financial sense only if you would pay for HBO Max as well as Disney+ and Hulu.
Check whether another package already includes Disney+
Disney and Charter announced an arrangement that includes Disney+ Basic with Spectrum TV Select. That does not establish that every Spectrum customer currently qualifies or that the service is active on a particular account. Check your Spectrum package and account terms before paying separately for an eligible service.

Do not mistake app convenience or a past perk for savings
Eligible subscribers can watch a selection of Hulu titles in Disney+, according to Disney’s Hulu profile-linking announcement. Some Hulu content, Hulu add-ons, and Hulu + Live TV remain in the Hulu app. Seeing some Hulu programming in Disney+ can make the bundle more convenient, but it does not by itself lower the subscription bill.
Disney’s May 2025 Perks announcement included six months of DashPass for new DashPass members. That was a historical offer; the announcement does not establish that it is still available. Treat perks as a possible extra only after confirming current eligibility and terms, not as a reason to keep a plan that costs more than the services you use.

Make the decision based on your household, not bundle popularity
Disney reported that 43.7 million subscribers had bundles including both Disney+ and Hulu as of September 27, 2025, in its fiscal 2025 earnings release. That shows bundling is common; it does not show that a bundle is the cheapest choice for every household. Your useful comparison is the renewal bill for the services and ad experience you genuinely want.
