Apple has not added Peacock to Apple One. What it announced on October 16, 2025, is a separate Apple TV–Peacock bundle for U.S. customers and a 35% discount on Peacock Premium Plus for Apple One Family and Premier subscribers. That creates a credible precedent for partner benefits, but there is no confirmation of Netflix, Disney+, Max or Paramount+ joining Apple One.
What Apple actually announced
Apple and NBCUniversal introduced two related offers, and confusing them leads to the wrong conclusion about Apple One.
1. A standalone Apple TV–Peacock bundle
U.S. customers can buy Apple TV with either Peacock tier through Apple:

Apple said the combined plans saved more than 30% against buying the services separately in its announcement. A later Apple App Store editorial listing cited savings of more than 42% for the Premium version and more than 37% for Premium Plus, using the standalone prices applicable to that comparison. Those percentages can change when either service changes price, so they are not permanent guarantees. See Apple’s announcement and its App Store listing.

2. A discount reserved for some Apple One subscribers
Apple One Family and Premier subscribers can subscribe to Peacock Premium Plus at a 35% discount. Peacock remains a separate subscription and account relationship; it is not added to the Apple One service list. Apple’s related App Store description says the Apple TV–Peacock offer contains only those two subscriptions: Apple’s iPad editorial listing.
Apple did not identify Apple One Individual subscribers as eligible for the same discount. The exact dollar price should be checked in the live checkout flow because offers can vary by market, billing route and account status.

The announced bundle and discount were for the United States. Eligibility, prices and migration rules should be rechecked before purchase.

Why the Peacock arrangement matters for Apple One
Apple One has traditionally combined Apple-owned services. Depending on plan and country, Apple lists Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+, with up to 2TB of iCloud+ storage: Apple One’s product page.

The Peacock structure suggests a possible hybrid model. Apple can continue bundling its own services, add valuable programming to Apple TV, and negotiate a discount on an outside service without making that service a permanent Apple One component. The last point is an interpretation of the deal, not a stated Apple strategy.
It also gives Apple a way to make Family and Premier more attractive. Those tiers cost more, support household sharing and now carry a benefit unavailable to Individual subscribers. A partner offer could therefore encourage upgrades while leaving the partner responsible for its own catalog, advertising rules, account policies and billing terms.

Sports may be the bigger Apple One value story
Apple is increasing the value of Apple TV itself, which automatically affects Apple One households because Apple TV is included in every Apple One tier.
MLS in the regular Apple TV subscription
Apple announced that, beginning with the 2026 season, all MLS matches would be available to Apple TV subscribers at no additional charge, ending the separate MLS Season Pass model. Apple Support says Apple TV and Apple One subscribers receive MLS matches and related programming from that season. Availability remains subject to market and rights conditions. Live sports can make a subscription more difficult to cancel during a season, even for viewers who watch few scripted shows. That is a strategic possibility, not a published Apple measurement of retention or churn.
Could Netflix, Disney+ or Max be next?
Possible in principle, but unconfirmed. Apple has demonstrated a partner-discount model with Peacock; it has not announced a general streaming “super-bundle” or named another partner.
More plausible forms of expansion
- Targeted discounts for Family and Premier subscribers.
- Limited-time trials or promotional access to a partner service.
- Sports-event promotions that strengthen Apple TV’s role inside Apple One.
- Premium partner offers negotiated without adding the partner to Apple One’s permanent service list.
Less certain outcomes
- Full inclusion of another major streamer in Apple One.
- A single Apple app combining every partner catalog and account experience.
- Permanently ad-free access to third-party services.
- A universal Apple One streaming tier available in every country.
Major streamers may resist broad discounts because they already have direct billing relationships, advertising businesses, proprietary bundles and competing distribution partners. Apple is more likely, as an analytical matter, to pursue partners that add distinctive entertainment or sports while keeping Apple TV as the central viewing interface.

Practical limits before you switch or upgrade
- Peacock is separate. Buying through Apple does not turn Peacock into an Apple One component or guarantee that every Peacock program appears in Apple TV’s catalog.
- Account setup may be separate. You may need to create or link a Peacock account after subscribing through Apple.
- Check existing subscriptions first. An annual plan, promotional rate, carrier benefit or broadband offer may be better than the Apple-linked price. Switching billing channels can affect renewal dates, refunds and promotional eligibility.
- Premium Plus is not universally commercial-free. Live sports, live programming, promotional material and selected channels can have advertising or other exceptions under Peacock’s terms.
- Regional rights still apply. MLS, Formula 1 and other live events can differ by country and territory.
- Prices can move. The $14.99 and $19.99 figures are launch/current signals, not lifetime prices.
Who should consider the Apple TV–Peacock bundle?
It may fit if you:
- Already pay separately for Apple TV and Peacock.
- Watch Peacock’s NBC, Bravo, Universal, sports or live-event programming.
- Want Premium Plus and do not have a better third-party discount.
- Prefer Apple billing and discovery within Apple’s ecosystem.
It may not fit if you:
- Only watch Apple Originals and have no interest in Peacock.
- Use Peacock occasionally and can subscribe month to month when needed.
- Already receive Peacock through a carrier, broadband provider, credit-card benefit or another bundle.
- Live outside the United States or need a Peacock account arrangement unavailable through Apple billing.
- Expect billing consolidation to create one fully unified viewing app.
How to decide whether an Apple One upgrade pays off
Do not upgrade from Individual to Family or Premier solely for a 35% Peacock discount. Compare the services your household would otherwise buy:
- Add your current Apple Music, Apple TV and iCloud+ costs.
- Price any Apple Arcade, News+ or Fitness+ subscriptions you genuinely use.
- Estimate the value of Peacock Premium Plus at the discounted checkout price.
- Subtract any carrier, annual-plan or promotional benefit you would lose.
- Account for household sharing that could replace separate subscriptions.
- Upgrade only if the underlying Apple services and storage already justify the higher tier.
The relevant comparison is not the advertised percentage saving; it is the cost of services your household would actually purchase without the bundle.
What this says about Apple One’s future
The strongest current reading is that Apple One may become a gateway to partner benefits, not that Apple is about to absorb the entire streaming market. Peacock establishes a precedent for a negotiated third-party perk. Apple’s MLS and Formula 1 plans show another route: make the included Apple TV service more valuable with distinctive sports rights.
Whether Apple repeats the model will depend on partner economics, regional rights, account integration and the value Apple can offer higher-tier households. Until Apple announces another deal, Netflix, Disney+, Max and Paramount+ remain possibilities rather than promised Apple One benefits.
