Amazon’s U.S. Big Spring Sale 2025 ended on March 31, 2025. The seven-day event ran from Tuesday, March 25, through Monday, March 31. Any discount visible on Amazon now is a new, separate offer—not a continuation of the 2025 sale.
Here’s what the event included, how Prime eligibility worked, what Amazon Haul had to do with it, and how to judge whether a current Amazon markdown is genuinely worthwhile.

The short answer
Amazon’s Big Spring Sale 2025 is over. Amazon announced the U.S. event for March 25–31, 2025, and its final-day coverage confirmed that it was ending on March 31. An old sale page, deal roundup, or product link may still load because Amazon keeps pages available for archival or merchandising purposes, but a working URL does not mean the promotion is active.
Some products featured during the event may later return to a similar price or receive another coupon. If you see one today, treat it as a current promotion and evaluate its terms independently. It is not evidence that the 2025 Big Spring Sale is still running.

What was Amazon’s Big Spring Sale 2025?
Amazon described the event as a seven-day U.S. shopping promotion covering more than 35 categories. Its headline claim was up to 40% off select items, including seasonal merchandise and Amazon devices.
“Up to 40% off” was a maximum, not an average discount. It did not mean most products were 40% off or that every category received the same savings. The actual value depended on the product, model, seller, inventory, coupon requirements, and price history.
Who could shop?
The sale was not Prime-only. Amazon said all customers could shop the event. However, some offers were exclusive to Prime members and carried a “Prime Spring Deal” badge.

That distinction matters: non-Prime shoppers were not locked out of the entire sale, while Prime members could qualify for selected additional prices or offers. The event also was not Prime Day; it was a separate spring promotion.
What kinds of deals were advertised?
Amazon promoted discounts across seasonal and everyday shopping categories, including:
- Apparel and beauty products
- Outdoor furniture, garden supplies, and other spring merchandise
- Home products and technology
- Amazon Outlet and end-of-season goods
- Amazon devices and connected-home products
Amazon’s final-day roundup highlighted products such as Ring doorbells and security cameras, Fire TV Stick devices, Fire HD Kids tablets, Echo Buds, Echo Pop, the Amazon Smart Thermostat, Kindle Colorsoft, Kindle Scribe, and Eero networking products.
Those are historical examples of products Amazon featured during the 2025 event. They should not be read as current prices, current stock information, or recommendations to buy at the old sale price.

Contemporary coverage also reported themed daily deal drops during the week. Those daily schedules ended with the event and should not be treated as an ongoing source of offers.
Where Amazon Haul fit in
Amazon Haul was a separate low-price shopping experience available through the Amazon Shopping app and mobile website. During the 2025 spring event, Amazon positioned Haul products at $20 or less, with most priced at $10 or under and some as low as $1.
Amazon also advertised a limited-time 50% off promotion for Amazon Haul during the event. That promotion was separate from the “up to 40% off” claim for selected items elsewhere on Amazon.
The trade-off was different shopping economics:
- Prices and product selection were aimed at the low-cost end of the market.
- Orders over $25 qualified for free shipping under the stated event terms.
- Delivery was generally described as taking one to two weeks, so Haul was not comparable with ordinary Prime-speed delivery.
- Brand selection, warranty expectations, and product quality may differ from purchases through the standard Amazon marketplace.
Amazon Haul remains a poor fit for urgent purchases or shoppers who prioritize fast delivery and extensive brand support. Its 2025 promotional terms should not be assumed to be permanent.

Can you still get a 2025 Big Spring Sale deal?
The sale itself is not available. A product from the event may still have a live listing, but that only proves the product is being sold—not that its March 2025 promotional price remains.
Before treating a current markdown as a deal, check:
- The current price: Do not rely solely on a crossed-out “list” or “was” price.
- Price history: Amazon says eligible product pages and shopping tools can show price-history information. Use it to see whether the current price is meaningfully low.
- The exact model: Confirm the generation, storage capacity, size, color, bundle contents, and model number.
- Seller and fulfillment: A marketplace seller may have different warranty, condition, shipping, and return implications, even when Amazon fulfills the order.
- Checkout requirements: Look for clipped coupons, Prime eligibility, minimum quantities, Subscribe & Save, or other conditions.
- Delivery and stock: Limited inventory can remove a discount or change the delivery date before checkout.
- Returns and warranty: Electronics, beauty products, personal-care goods, and opened consumables can have special return restrictions.

Do not join Prime solely to chase an expired Big Spring Sale 2025 discount. Prime may make financial sense if you expect to use its shipping, streaming, grocery, or other benefits throughout the year—not because a historical deal page still shows a Prime badge.

For the U.S. pricing information cited by Amazon, regular Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Eligible students and young adults could receive a six-month trial followed by pricing of $7.49 per month or $69 per year. Qualifying government-assistance recipients and income-verified customers could use Prime Access after a 30-day trial at $6.99 per month. Membership prices and eligibility can change, so check Amazon’s current membership information before signing up.
A simple break-even test is to compare the membership cost with the shipping savings and other benefits you realistically expect to use. At $139 annually, the annual plan requires meaningful year-round use. At $14.99 monthly, canceling after a single purchase can still cost more than the benefit you received.

How to read old Amazon deal pages
Historical roundups often continue to appear in search results and may retain “last chance” language written on March 31, 2025. Read the publication date and distinguish among three different claims:
- The product is still sold: The listing exists now.
- The product is discounted now: A current price or coupon is visible.
- The 2025 event price is still active: This is generally false after March 31, 2025 unless a current page explicitly establishes a separate, still-valid offer—and even then it is a new promotion.
Amazon’s current Big Spring Sale archive also includes separate later coverage, including a 2026 event. That does not revive or extend the 2025 promotion.
Geography matters
The dates, prices, shipping thresholds, and membership details above refer to the United States. Amazon used different branding in the U.K., where the comparable event was called Spring Deal Days. Other countries can have different dates, offers, taxes, delivery rules, and Prime plans. Do not transfer U.S. deal claims to another Amazon storefront without checking that market’s page.
