The $2.32 million miner-sales figure has no traceable primary source, no stated definition of what it counts, and no time window that matches Ethereum (ETH) staking or Bitcoin (BTC) price performance. Until those inputs are published, “outperforms” is an unverified marketing claim, not a finding.
Why the three numbers in the headline cannot be compared
The title places three different kinds of measurement side by side. Each answers a different question, so the word “outperforms” only means something once each one is measured the same way over the same period.
| Measure in the headline | What it actually records | What would be needed before comparing it |
|---|---|---|
| $2.32M in miner sales | A gross sales total. It could mean gross orders, presale commitments, paid orders, delivered units, or recognized revenue. Each of these gives a different answer. | Start and end dates, a definition of the figure, the number of units sold, delivered and refunded, and the source that published it. |
| ETH staking | A reward stream paid to stakers. The outcome depends on the staking method, timing, fees and risks. | The staking route used, net rewards after fees over the identical period, and any lockup terms. |
| BTC price | A change in the market price of one asset between two points. | Start and end timestamps, the quoted currency, and the named price data source. |
A sales total, a staking reward and a price change are three separate quantities. None of them can rank the others by label alone.
What the $2.32 million figure can and cannot show
No dated public sales disclosure, methodology or independent audit for the $2.32 million figure was found in the sources reviewed for this article. The headline does not name a publisher or a year, and it does not say whether the number covers one month, the project’s full history, or a single batch of miners.

Even if the figure were verified, it would show gross money received or committed. It would not show profit. Mining profitability generally depends on hardware performance, electricity and hosting costs, maintenance, and network conditions. A sales total that ignores those costs cannot establish that a buyer, or the seller, earned more than a staker or a Bitcoin holder.
What BlockDAG says about the X100 Miner
The project’s own materials make several statements about the X100. They are useful for understanding what BlockDAG claims, but none of them independently verifies the sales figure or the comparison.

The official landing page
BlockDAG’s official landing page describes the project as a proof-of-work Layer 1 that uses a directed acyclic graph (DAG) structure. It also displays aggregate counts of holders, miners and app users. These are project-promoted figures. The page does not validate them, and the counts are not dated in the material reviewed, so they should not be read as audited measures of adoption.
The order and delivery process
BlockDAG’s miner instructions describe an order and payment flow for the X100 Miner, including examples of paying in cryptocurrency. The page states that purchased miners will be delivered after the official product launch. That is the seller’s stated process. It does not show that any specific order has shipped or been fulfilled, and it does not establish current delivery status.

The mainnet roadmap
BlockDAG’s mainnet roadmap lists ASIC mining as completed in 2025 and states that the X30 and X100 miners were tested and working. This is a project statement. The roadmap does not include an X100 specification sheet or independently audited performance data, so it does not tell a buyer the hashrate, power consumption or uptime the X100 delivers.
A separate community page
A separate BDAG community page lists X30 specifications but says X100 specifications will be published once they are confirmed against an official specification sheet. The same page marks the X100 order button as temporarily unavailable and states that mining yield estimates are not guarantees. Read together with the roadmap, these caveats leave the availability and specification questions open.

The project litepaper describes specialized mining hardware and an X1 Miner Mobile App as possible ways to mine. It does not give validated X100 operating figures or realized yield.

If the sales figure and the outperformance claim are to be tested, the comparison needs the following inputs, in this order:
Best Value
- ✅Premium Aluminum Construction: Constructed from high-quality aluminum for enhanced durability and heat dissipation, ensuring longevity and optimal performance.
- ✅ Accommodates 8 GPUs: Designed to house up to 8 graphics cards, providing ample space for expanding your mining setup and maximizing efficiency.
- ✅ Superior Airflow and Cooling: Engineered with optimized airflow design to prevent overheating and maintain optimal operating temperatures for prolonged mining sessions.
- ✅ Easy Assembly: Simple and straightforward assembly process allows for quick setup, getting you up and running in no time.
- ✅ Sleek and Space-Saving Design: Compact and minimalist design saves space while adding a professional touch to your mining rig setup.
- Fixed dates. Exact start and end timestamps for the sales figure, the ETH staking period and the BTC price window. All three must match.
- A definition of the $2.32 million. Gross orders, paid sales, delivered units or recognized revenue, with the primary disclosure that published it.
- Unit counts. Units sold, units delivered and units refunded or cancelled within the same window.
- Costs, if “outperforms” means profit. Hardware cost, electricity, hosting, maintenance and other operating costs for the miners in question.
- The ETH staking route and net return. The method used (for example, solo, pooled, exchange-based or a liquid staking product), with rewards net of fees over the identical period, plus any lockup terms.
- BTC endpoints. The opening and closing price, the quoted currency and the named data source.
- Common currency and risk disclosure. All figures converted to one currency, with delivery, liquidity and execution risks stated beside the result.
The sources reviewed for this article provide none of these inputs for the claimed comparison, so no numerical ranking can be drawn from them.
Checks to make before acting on this claim
- Confirm the order button is live. The community page marked it as temporarily unavailable in the material reviewed.
- Ask for the official specification sheet. Compare its figures with any performance claim before paying.
- Get refund and cancellation terms in writing. The sources reviewed do not establish them.
- Confirm the delivery date. Ask whether delivery follows the official product launch, and what happens if it is delayed.
- Treat yield estimates as non-guaranteed. The community page itself says so.
- Record cryptocurrency payments precisely. Note the token, the amount and the exchange rate used, because the value at purchase and at delivery can differ.
Until a dated primary source defines the $2.32 million figure and matches its period to the staking and Bitcoin benchmarks, the headline should be read as a project’s promotional statement rather than a measured result.
